AN: Hey everyone! Sorry, I'm new at this and am trying to figure everything out. Well, originally I only got this account to review stories, but I realized when I was helping my sister write a story for English class that I can't just sit back and let her do it all by herself. I already have thought of two story ideas and here is the first one. I hope you enjoy it, and remember I'm new at this:)

Disclaimer: All character belong to Brenda Hampton unfortunately. I will be gladly take Ricky though if he is ever up for grabs:)

I should have known this was a terrible idea. Moving with my mom, into a new town after the divorce was so terrifying. Now with my dad, sister, and brother two hours away from me, I don't know how I will survive.

"Amy you'll be fine. Just relax. Everyone will love you," my mom, Anne, promised.

"Yeah, whatever," I muttered under my breath.

She dropped me off at the front of the school, and I started to walk in, but as soon as I went through the doors something hit me, and everything went black.

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

Ugh! It was 6:00 A.M., the dream was over, and the nightmare was about to begin. It was the first day of school; more specifically my new school. I dressed in a light pink blouse with some jeans, nothing to fancy because I really didn't want to stand out. At my old my school I wasn't really considered popular, I minded my own business, and I would like to keep it that way. I quickly finished getting ready, and went downstairs where my mom had breakfast already sitting on the table.

"Are you ready for your first day, Rosey?" Mom asked.

"Mom, really you don't have to use that nickname anymore. I'm sixteen and I don't need you to use my six-year-old nickname anymore. To answer your question, I'm as ready as I'll ever be." I sassed.

"Okay, honey, just eat your breakfast," she replied.

We got into the car, and it was a quiet trip. My stomach was doing flips now. What if that dream becomes a reality? No, I'm just stressing out over this. We pulled up to the school, and my mom and I waved good-bye. As I walked through the doors, I let out a breath when nothing happened. As I was looking for my locker, I looked down and ran into someone. Papers went flying, and I could tell my cheeks were turning a shade of cherry red. I looked up and saw the cutest guy I ever saw in my life.

"Uh, I'm sorry," I stuttered.

"Oh, don't worry. It was my fault I should have been watching where I was going. I'm Ricky," the boy greeted.

"I'm Amy," I answered.

"RICKY!" I heard someone scream from across the hall.

"I have to go. I'll see you around. Later, kid," he added as he walked away.

"Bye," was all I could say. He only thought of me as some kid.

"Hey, are you okay? I saw you run into Ricky Underwood. You do know he is the star quarter back for the Warriors, and he has the most beautiful girlfriend, the head cheerleader, Adrian," a boy questioned me.

"I'm fine. Thank you and I don't know who he is because I'm new here. I'm Amy," I declared.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Ben. It looks like you will need some help since you're new. Why don't I help you?" he offered.

"That will be very much appreciated," I smiled. We began to walk away to our first class. I think I just found a new friend.

What do you think? Should I continue? Please let me know.
