Chapter One - I need you, Kurosaki-kun

Her heart beat in her chest at a rapid pace feeling like it might explode. She ran towards a large pillar, feeling 'his' rieatsu, as well as another. Another she was all too familiar with, spending so much time in Hueco Mundo. Orihime, looking up her eyes wide with terror. There she saw...Ichigo, the black tail of Uliquiorra wrapped around his neck. She wanted nothing more than to reach out, reach out and help him. She leaned forward, unable to move from her stance. "No...Ichigo!" She watched as Uliquorra's index finger raised towards her beloveds chest. Uliquiorra glanced back upon hearing the womands voice. " So you've come...How nice. You're just in time...Watch closely. Here's the man whom to which you've intrusted all your hope. Watch...As his life, comes to an end." The 4th espada turned back towards the human as the green beam of a cero began to charge at the tip of his index finger, before shooting through ichigo's chest with such a loud pierce, it echoed through the air. Her eyes widened, unable to comprehend what was happening. Unable to accept it. Her heart clenching in her chest as her stomach turned in knots. She felt like throwing up, but instead took off in a dash towards Ichigo's falling body as Uliquiorra tossed it aside off the giant pillar.

"Noooo!" Orihime jerked up in her sleep, it had only been a few months since the Hueco Mundo incident. She clinched her eyes shut, still panting from the repeating nightmare. Bringing her hands up to her chest she clutched her shirt pulling at it, her heart beat pounding in her chest. Tears welled up in her eyes as she thought of the incident, over and over. Ichigo had never been the same since, and although everything turned out alright, she felt like she was responsible for what had happened. Had she just went to Ichigo to begin with, instead of willingly going to Hueco Mundo she would've never had to...Never had to see... She clinched her eyes shut at the thought. Never had to see him die. She was foolish to think he wouldn't rescue her. The tears escaped her eyes running down her cheeks, her auburn hair spilling over her shoulders as she looked down. "Ichigo..." she murmured lightly. Swinging her legs off the bed, she felt this urge to see him. To make sure...To make sure he was still alive. Ever since that had happened, she felt this pull towards him that was unexplainable. Sure, she had always cared for him. Possibly even more than just as a friend. However ever since he risked his life to come and rescue her, that spoke volumes compared to words. She was convinced, that he loved her. However, Ichigo wasn't a man to talk about his feelings. Although it was just hope, hope that he felt the way she did, she knew. She felt like she knew. And this was the last nightmare she was going to have, without knowing.

She changed into a pair of black short-shorts, and a red tank top which hugged her body nicely. Giving herself a look over, she decided her hair was tame enough to leave it be. Reaching up before turning away from the mirror, she tucked stray locks behind her ears as she peered into her auburn eyes seeing the determination there. She had never felt so bold in her life, and she knew if she didn't do what she wanted now, she never would. Slipping on some flip flops, she stepped out of her home, walking down the concrete stairs. The cool night air causing her nipples to harden under her tank top and poke through, momentarily she thought she should go back in a put on a bra, and grab a jacket. However, if she turned back she knew she would lose her courage. Taking a deep breath she set off towards the Kurosaki's home. Arriving, faster than usual likely because she walked faster than she normally would have, she paused her closed fist inches from the door. She was losing her nerve. Shaking her head, she knocked...Her heart beating in her chest, blood roaring in her ears, while she waited patiently. The porch light suddenly came on, startling her slightly, but she immediately regained her composure before Isshin Kurosaki slowly opened the door, yawning as he did so. "Oh hello Orihime!" He said rather enthusiastically, even tho it was 2 a.m. "Are you...Okay?" The words came out slowly as he peered down at the young woman, while she shook her head. "No..." she started to say, before peering up at Isshin. "No its not okay...I need to see him." Isshin turned his head slightly, immediately understanding before stepping to the side. "I'm assuming you remember where his room is?" She nodded slowly as she stepped into his home.

The Kurosaki house always felt peaceful to her, and she could hear Yuzu's sweet voice calling her down for dinner or breakfast. She put these thoughts to the back of her mind as she climbed the stairs. Upon reaching the top she knew to stop at the first door on the left. She paused for a moment, considering turning back before her fists clenched tightly. 'No' she thought to herself her heart rate picking up again. 'Ichigo needs to know how I feel, and I...I need to know how he feels. Even if he rejects me completely, that's better than not knowing at all.' She convinced herself, stepping into his dark room. Of course, the sillouhette of everything appeared in front of her as her eyes adjusted to the dark. His desk, towards the front of the room, near the door, the chair neatly pushed in underneath. Then she turned towards his bed, smiling as she heard his deep breaths. She walked silently towards the foot of his bed, content on just watching him sleep. The usual scowl on his face, non-existent on his peaceful features which were illumated from the blue numbers on his alarm clock. He was so handsome while he slept, his exposed chizzled chest causing her blush. Walking over to the side, she sat on the side of his bed, the side he slept closest to. Her hip bumped into him as he sank towards her slightly from her weight. Her feet were still on the floor, and she was...Oddly calm considering the situation. It was probably because, she could see him breathing. For a moment the horrrible nightmare resurfaced in her mind before she pushed those thoughts away. She couldn't help herself, her smooth hand reaching out to his cheek, cupping it gently. She melted when Ichigo nuzzled into it, the corners of his mouth turning upwards slightly..."Ichigo." She whispered softly.

"Orihime..." He murmed in a low voice, startling her thinking he was responding to her however this was not the case as Ichigo was still asleep. She was suddenly curious. "Please..." Please? Please what? She was so confused, and did not even realize she had leaned down closer towards him, one hand cupping his cheek, the other on his chizzled chest. And although nothing else escaped from his lips, she did not move instead choosing to study his face. His orange hair was longer than before, and she could've swore his jaw was clenched. She smiled, and her body grew a mind of its own as her feet lifted up off the floor. Adjusting against him, she laid her head sideways against his chest, her leg draping over his waist that was underneath the blanket. She blused deeply when she felt how aroused he was. He was dreaming of her, she suddenly realized, glancing up at his face. Suddenly an arm snaked around her shoulders, hugging her tightly, and she heard him take a deep breath, his nose in her hair as he took another very deep breath "Smells like Vanilla." Her heart was beating so hard, she could've swore it was going to come out of her chest. "Orihime...Is everything okay?" His voice was so soft, so calm, and so comforting. She looked back up at him, his eyes were half-lidded, and blood shot. She had woken him from his slumber. Her left hand ran circles over the hairs on his chest, and she had never felt so bold in her entire life. Without saying anything, she shifted again, using her right arm to push herself up and straddle him. Her black short-shorts moving further up her thigh, her red tank top loose, revealing an exceptional amount of cleavage as she leaned forward. If Ichigo wasn't awake before, he sure as hell was now. Her ass was rubbing against him, and it caused him to groan slightly, his brown eyes looking up at her.

"Orihime?" He asked again, and he could see tears welling up in her amber eyes. His chest clenched at the anguish that was on her face, and he knew immediately, immediately why she was here. Or atleast he thought he did, however he was not prepared for what the woman was about to say. "Ichigo..." She murmed slowly, staring down in his eyes. He had always known she was beautiful, but with her straddling him, peering down at him with such sad eyes, she seemed...So vulnerable. The need to protect her was so predominate it was overwhelming. "Yes?" Tears ran down her cheek, and a hand moved from her hip...Wait when did that get there? Siezing the tear drop from her cheek, he flicked it away gently. He smiled at her reassuringly, before her body crashed down on top of him crushing him with an embrace. Her breasts pushed against his chizzled chests, and the shift in her weight caused him to groan, as she grinded against his hardened length. She wasn't oblivious, and could feel him. However she was only focused on one thing, and her chest throbbed as she violently started to cry. She could feel his hands snaking up underneath her tank top, as both his calloused hands stroked her upper and lower back gently. "It's okay Orihime, I'm here for you. I'm always here for you..." His words only caused her to tighten her hold on him, embracing him with as much love as she could muster. "Kurosaki-kun, I'm s...So..." She sobbed violently trying to get the words out. "Sorry for everything." He continued to rub her back. "And what are you sorry for, Orihime?" She released him, placing a hand on either side of his head, causing his pillow to flatten against his bed. She peered down into his wonderful gaze. "You know why." The look she gave him, crushed him. It defeated him entirely and he felt like there was no way to take that pain away. Moving one hand from her back, he raised it to her cheek, brushing her auburn hair behind an ear. "Orihime." He said with a tone that caught her attention. "Do not be sorry, I never want you to be sorry. You did what you thought was necessary, to protect the people that you love." He paused, wanting to choose his next words carefully. His gaze was fierce holding her in a trance. "And those people, love you just as much. Please don't blame yourself." Her heart ached silently when he said 'those people' and as she was going to turn away but he wouldn't let her. His eyes narrowed slightly, as he could see the pain written all over her face. "I love you, Orihime Inoue. I love you with all my heart, and my soul." Orihime's eyes widened slightly as her face brightened. She couldn't believe that he said it first, and without hesitation, her lips crashed against his. She had never felt such happiness in her life, and she wanted to not only tell him, but to show him. Her tongue battled with his, before finally they needed to breath. Pulling away from him, she smiled. "And I love you, Ichigo Kurosaki. I've loved you, since the day that we met and I've never stopped."

Grinding her hips against him, she smirked when his eyes rolled back, and his head sank deeper in his pillow. Oh she was going to show him, how much she appreciated him. One way, or another...
