Any relation of characters in this story to real persons, living, dead, or exterminated by Daleks, is entirely coincidental.

Planet designated "FDF-453"

Milky Way Galaxy

It was a beautiful day on planet FDF-453. The sun was shining, birds were tweeting, and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. The planet could rightfully be described as a paradise. That is, until that misconception was shattered when a loud explosion occurred, and four metal contraptions, about a meter in height and looking very much like waste bins with a plunger sticking out of them rolled past.

They were immediately followed by a barrage of yellow plasma blasts and ten humanoids in very conspicuous and constraining metal chainmail armor. One of the metal contraptions turned around at its attacker, screeched a very loud "EXTERMINATE", and promptly vaporized one of the pursuing Jaffa. This only served to enrage the other pursuers, and a hail of plasma bolts ensued.

Eventually, the group reached a clearing with a large metal ring (known to the inhabitants of 3 galaxies as a "Stargate"). One of the Daleks rolled up to the black pedestal in front of the gate, extended a metal appendage, and interfaced with the pedestal's ancient crystal computer systems. The stargate immediately started turning, the orange chevrons locking in one by one...

Dalek Wormhole Gate Command (DWGC)

Undisclosed Location

The klaxons blared loudly throughout the concrete halls of the old outpost. "UNSCHEDULED OFF-WORLD ACTIVATION! INBOUND HOSTILES! EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE!", was shouted through the speakers all throughout the facility. Twenty Daleks gathered around the gate, plungers pointed at the center, as the final chevron locked and the familiar "whoosh" occurred. The four man (or should I say, four Dalek?) team rolled through, followed by the six remaining attackers.

The Jaffa promptly came to a halt when seeing the business end of twenty Daleks. They didn't even have time to fire a plasma bolt before being vaporized by twenty very angry Daleks. The 'gate promptly shut down, and the Daleks gathered in the room rolled off to continue their regular duties.

Looking down from the window above the gate room, the Dalek commander would have shaken his head if he could have. It was supposed to be a simple mission: Make contact with the locals, exterminate them, and return home. Instead, they had run into a Jaffa ambush.

If Daleks could sigh, this one sure would have. SG-1, they always seemed to run into so much trouble!
