Alex always knew that Justin was always a better student than her. Justin was a total nerd. He always went by the rules, got perfect grades, and never got into any trouble, in comparison to Alex, who was his exact opposite.
Alex hated the rules, and used magic whenever she felt like it. She was also a liar.
Alex always said she hated Justin, which she did. However, one time she said she pretended like she didn't like Justin, and she said she did, but when she said she hated him, she really did hate him.
Justin always acted so high and mighty, like just because he was smarter than her and got better grades than her that made him better than her. Justin was stuck-up, and Alex could be too sometimes, but she didn't think she was better than anyone except Gigi, which in that case she was better than Gigi.
Right now, they were in the middle of their wizard lesson, and their father was showing them the dust that undid spells.
"Now in case that a wizard ever forgets how to undo a spell, this dust will undo it for them." Their father explained as he held up a jar of green dust with little specks of red dust in it.
"What kind of inexperienced wizard-Alex-would forget how to-Alex-undo a spell-Alex?" Justin asked.
That did it. Something inside of Alex snapped. She felt her blood begun to boil, rage filled her, and something just…broke.
Not even a moment later, Alex screamed a cry of rage and frustration.
"SHUT THE HELL UP!" She shouted at her brother.
"Alex, what's wrong?!" Her father asked.
"SHUT UP AND SIT DOWN!" She ordered as she pointed towards his chair.
"LISTEN HERE YOU BASTARD, I'M SO SICK OF THIS SHIT YOU GIVE ME! JUST BECAUSE YOU GET BETTER GRADES THAT DOESN'T MAKE YOU THE BETTER PERSON! JUST BECAUSE I BREAK THE RULES OF MAGIC USE, THAT DOESN'T MAKE ME IRRSPONESABLE! YOU NEED TO LEARN TO RESPECT ME!"
"Uh…yeah well…you can be totally selfish?" Justin was…shocked at his sister's reaction.
"I MAY BE SELFISH SOMETIMES, BUT YOU'RE A STUCK UP SON FO A BITCH!"
Justin began to retreat, but his very pissed off sister kept coming closer to him.
"AND I HAVE JUST AS MUCH OF A CHANCE AS BEING THE FAMILY WIZARD AS YOU! IN FACT, I'M BETTER AT MAGIC THAN YOU BECAUSE I ACTUALLY USE IT!" She quickly turned to her father. "YOU!" She shouted. "WHENEVER SOMETHING BAD HAPPENS, YOU AUTOMATICALLY THINK THAT IT'S MY FAULT! AND SOMETIMES I USE MAGIC TO HELP PEOPLE! IN FACT…I…I…" Her tone lowered as tears began to fill her eyes, and her face turned red. "…I hate you." She said to them both before walking then running out of the room.
Justin's mother appeared with Max. "Hey, what's wrong with her?" Mrs. Russo asked.
"I WANT TO BE ALONE!" Alex screamed again before a slam of her door was heard.
"And I think it has something to do with Alex." Max said.
"Teresa, do I jump to conclusions when something bad happens?" Mr. Russo asked.
"Well, yes actually, you do. You always think its Alex's fault."
"Hey Max…am I stuck up?" Justin asked.
"Well yeah, you think you're smarter than everyone, yeah."
Mr. Russo and Justin turned to each other.
"Alex was right. Man, I gotta go apologize." Justin shook his head before running out of the room after Alex. "Alex!"
"LEAVE ME ALONE!" Alex shouted.
