Appearance: Ryōka is a girl with long, wild, crimson red hair with blond streaks that reaches her lower back tied in a ponytail, light skin, abnormally sharp canine teeth, and icy blue eyes. In Part I, she wore a blood red hoodie, a black mesh shirt over a black sports bra, red bandages wrapped around her hands, and black cargo pants. She also wears black red-laced combat boots without socks.
She's taller than her younger brother Naruto and has a slender yet athletic frame and toned thighs. Unlike other Shinobi, Ryōka wears her Hitate around her left elbow instead of over her forehead and has a tribal tattoo in the shape of a Tiger on her right upper bicep.
In Part II, she wears a black leather vest with gray fur trimmings and a furred hood, a blood red tank-top, black kevlar pants with Sai holders, red gauntlets and black fingerless gloves. Ryōka also grew taller and develops a fairly well-endowed figure. She's considered to be very beautiful by many of the males she's encountered, but the male villagers often fail to capture her beauty due to being the container of the Ten-Tailed Tiger.
Personality: Ryōka has a very crude, violent, merciless, cynical, pessimistic, and tomboyish personality. Her solution to problems often involve intimidation and violence, and does so very ruthlessly and brutally. She's also extremely ill-tempered, hot-headed, sardonic, and is eager to seek out danger, making people view her as a "Delinquent." Because of this, she doesn't care if she is injured. At a young age, she had the bad luck of dealing with very cruel and despicable people, Mizuki being one of them. She also behaves in a very cold, frightening manner that makes it difficult for most boys and girls to approach her (though a couple of boys secretly find her attractive). Ryōka is rather rude, foul-mouthed, and lacks ladylike manners, often seen putting her feet on the table or drinking large amounts of saké.
Even though she's feared by most students and strongly disliked by almost all of the teachers and villagers, Ryōka is generally misunderstood. She's actually a very kind, sweet, gentle, and somewhat shy girl. Hinata Hyūga, her only female friend, is one of the very few people who knows that Ryōka is actually very kind, and sympathizes with her problems in life. Ryōka's also surprisingly even-tempered, laid-back, and nonchalant, and rarely gets angry without a good reason.
Growing up without any parents, she shows maternal care for Naruto and is patient with his childish personality, but can be stern and strict with him when necessary. Ryōka even treats Hinata like a younger sister. She's fiercely protective of Naruto and loves him dearly, willing to crush those who dare try to harm him, such as when she viciously beaten a group of villagers who assaulted him when they were small children, and even went as far as kill Mizuki.
Due to being ostracized, ridiculed, and loathed by the villagers, Ryōka is flippant towards authority figures and hates the village for the way they treat her and Naruto. She's also cold and spiteful towards Sakura and strongly believes thats she doesn't deserve any of Naruto's kindness due to her poor treatment towards him. After suffering numerous years of prejudice, Ryōka grew to be indifferent towards others opinions of her, which proves that she has a sense of strength and independence.
Unlike her brother, she's far more mature, quiet, level-headed, and reserved. However she is not without a mischievous side. Ryōka also has a soft spot for young children, and is an animal lover. While confident her abilities, she's very humble and doesn't like to boast. Ryōka loves to eat and is a surprisingly big eater, she usually prefers to eat meat (a part of Nikushimi's influence).
Abilities: Like her father Minato, Ryōka is highly intelligent and is a natural prodigy in ninjustu, being ranked at the top of her class in the Academy, even higher than Sasuke Uchiha. She was able to take on numerous groups of people older than her as a small child, best Naruto in every single sparring match, and outclass all of her peers. She's also exceptionally street smart, as she can easily maneuver around the streets of Konoha. However, she's very weak in genjutsu's.
Chakra & Physical Prowess: As an Uzumaki, Ryōka Is blessed with a strong life force, granting her massive reserves of strong chakra and vitality, she also displays great control over it. Inherited from her mother Kushina, she possesses immense physical strength and is stronger than all of her peers and most adults, enabling lift and carry objects several times her size and weight with ease, smash boudlers, cleave through massive treees, and bend solid steel with her bare hands without the aid of Chakra. She's strong enough to lift 16 tons without using Chakra.
Ryōka has proven to be extremely skilled in unarmed combat, and is considered to be one of the best female hand-to-hand fighters in the Academy. Such skills allow her to beat numerous older kids, and even grown ups, "half to death" as a seven year old child, easily defeats Muzuki in a sparring match, and hold her own against Kakashi Hatake despite her young age.
She's highly skilled in three Lost Taijutsu Arts. The first is Tiger Style Kung fu, one of the five animal styles of Kung fu. It focuses. Her fighting style is fierce, aggressive, and relentless, overwhelming her opponents with devastating blows and fast attack combos. The second is Jeet Kune Do, a hybrid philosophy of martial arts that focuses on fluid motion and using offense to intercept her opponents attacks. And the third is Muay Thai, also known as "the art of eight limbs," a discipline that uses stand-up striking along with various clinching techniques. It's characterized by the combined use of fists, feet, elbows, knees, and shins. Due to her experience from fighting on the streets, Ryōka knows several street-fighting techniques. Kakashi describes Ryōka to be an instinctive fighter. Her ability to adapt to her opponent's fighting style comes from a high innate fighting sense rather than practiced study.
While she primarily fights with her bare hands, she's highly skilled with any weapon, even if she has no familiarity with it. Ryōka's weapon of choice are the Sais, which she wields with consumate skill. Although Ryōka can use her Sais for the purpose of trappincg and locking her enemies weapon, she also uses them to stab and pierce her opponents, as well as break swords. Her Uzumaki heritage also granted her exceptionally high stamina and endurance, able to fight for extended periods of time without showing fatigue.
Ryōka is extremely quick on her feet, being able to close in great distances within the blink of an eye, move faster than the eye can see, and land a devastating barrage if blows upon an opponent instantaneously. She's capable of moving quickly enough to leave behind afterimages or blurs. Her speed gives her the advantage against slower or other close range fighters and is great at closing in the gap between her foes with precise footwork. She's also able to preform complicated acrobatic stunts such as flips, rolls, and springs without any drawbacks or strain on her body.
