A Year and a Half

Emma and Killian thought everything was going well, that they could have a normal happy life in Storybrooke... But now, with a new approaching curse, our favourite characters are going to be separated. Will they be able to find each other? Will Killian be able to get back to his family? So I started this months ago when we first found out there was going to be a new curse... This is my version.

I thought I should post before 7x02 so please tell me what you think!

Emma looked up at her husband, his brows knitted, blue eyes showing pure hate, his lips set in a straight line. He was clenching his knuckles hard, angry, furious. "It's going to be okay Killian." She mumbled into his chest, her hand delicately on his chest where his heart is. His right arm wrapped around her waist, with his left forming a protective stance between her and the oncoming grey storm that was about to whisk them away to a life unknown to them. Briefly, it reminded her of their wedding day, the last curse. He held her tightly as the Black Fairy's curse hit, except this time, he was not only trying to protect her but also her precious cargo; their unborn child. Their littlest Pirate, firstborn of true love just like Emma. The child with unknown powers, but strength from both parents. The curse approaching fast was about to engulf them, and she couldn't help it. They promised to not ever say goodbye again but she didn't know when she would ever see him again, she couldn't bear it if she had her memories of him and something happened without her saying goodbye. "I love you, Killian." She reached up and planted a kiss as soft as a petal on his lips.

For a moment, all anger left Killian. He realized his wife, his baby needed him there, not his mind in the clouds, lost to everything. "I love you both too." In that moment, the grey clouds from the storm hit them, prepared to rip them apart, possibly from all their friends and family, but most importantly, pulling them away from Henry. Emma's worst fear coming true, that the baby-faced teenager would be alone, left feeling unloved and uncared for. Albeit for her pain of being separated from Killian, she silently wished that Henry would eventually find them, bringing the family together once again but until that time, that he would find happiness and love.
