Misfortune Cookie.

Disclaimer: I do not own CLoud House, or the episode of Rocko's Modern Life Fortune Cookie, which inspired this story.

The Loud family was out for lunch, at an Italian Chinese fusion restaurant this time.

Lincoln took a sip of his drink as the fortune cookies were past around.

The others checked their fortunes, and soon, it was his turn.

He read it in his mind, rather then allowed.

'Bad luck and extreme misfortune will infest your pethetic soul for all aternity.

This didn't go unnoticed by his sisters.

Lucy took it and read it.

"Bad luck and extreme misfortune will infest your pethetic soul for all aternity.", She read in her flat sounding voice. "I'd listen if I were you, Lincoln."

"Aw ignore miss doom and gloom.", Lynn cut in.

"Yeah, Mr. Lucky, it's literally just a fortune.", Lori told him, trying to reassure him.

"Sigh.", Lucy commented.

Lincoln thought about it later, sure it was nothing. Until the black cats began following him, he was sure he didn't have to worry about anything. He tried to hide from them in a store, which had several mirrors in it, which broke, though he didn't know this wasn't his fault. Afraid it was though, he ran outside, walking under a ladder as he did.

He finally managed to make it to Clyde's house. Clyde answered his knock.

"Lincoln."

Lincoln entered, chasing the cats away.

"Get outta here!.Scram!."

He then sank into an armchair as Harold and Howard entered.

"Rough day?", Harold asked.

"You have no idea."

He then told them over some tea. "I think I'm bad luck"

"Bad luck?" "Yeah, look what happened." "There's gotta be a real reason for that, and I'm gonna help you find out what it is.", Clyde promised.

He later began to do just that. First the black cats. It soon turned out that they'd followed him due to some food he'd been carrying slipping and the cats chasing after it.

Lincoln was relieved about that. Luna helped with the mirrors, along with Lola. All questioned the store's owner.

"These mirrors were old anyway, I was gonna scrap them, and breaking them's one way to do it.", She told them.

"So, it wasn't me?"

"Nah, kid, you didn't have anything to do with that."

"What a relief."

"You got it, bro.", Luna told them.

Later, at the restaurant, Lincoln had ordered several cookies, opening them all.

"Dang it!."

"Something wrong?", Lori asked.

"Look!."

They did. They were all the same.

"Is this someone's idea of a joke?", Lola asked.

"I don't have a clue.", He told her honestly.

They questioned the staff, and soon, the person behind the prank was revealed. The manager got involved. The prankster was soon fired for his stunt.

"Ugh, glad that's over.", Lincoln told them, happy things were back to normal, or, as normal as a house with ten sisters could be.
