Kuchiki Byakuya strode purposefully towards the blue door decorated with white rabbits. Rukia's room. Rukia had gone to help the foolish Ryoka; Kurosaki Ichigo, along with his Lieutenant.

The noble Kuchiki was on a mission. Shortly before his deceased wife's sister left, he had overheard her crying. Over what? That was what he intended to find out, he had promised to protect her after all. So without further ado, Byakuya stepped inside the room.

There was nothing that seemed out of place as far he could tell. Her stuffed animals were all lined up on the bed like usual, there were a few pictures hung on the walls, but yet everything seemed in it's rightful place.

"What is that?" He murmured to himself.

The small television set was turned on. Rukia had been watching a movie before she left apparently.

'Hmm, was that what made her upset?' Byakuya wondered lightly to himself. He glanced around for the remote, then picked it up from underneath a large stuffed fruit. He was quite puzzled as to why his sister had a strawberry in her room but shook it off in favor of trying to figure out how to start the movie.

He proceeded to mash buttons down in frustration for a good five minutes, before he felt a large spiritual pressure headed towards him.

What could Zaraki Kenpachi want with him? He wondered.

He didn't have time to ponder further, as at that precise moment Kenpachi himself entered the room. Through the wall. He smashed through the whole wall to get into a room that already had an open door. Byakuya felt his eye twitch.

"Hey! You seen Yachiru?" The eleventh division captian rumbled while he glanced around the room. "Nice room you got, Princess. What's with the bunnies?"

"I have not seen your Luitenant in quite a few days, Zaraki-Taicho. And this is Rukia's room, not my own." He answered absently, still trying to get the movie to play. Why was this so difficult?!

"Oh well, she'll come back on her own, I suppose. Ah, gimme that!" Kenpachi snatched the remote for the television out of Byakuya's hands and in a few moments the film was beginning. Byakuya blinked. How did he do that so quickly? "What's the matter, Princess never watched a DVD before? What are ya watchin' anyway?"

"Titanic, it seems." Byakuya replied somewhat put-out that the hadn't been able to start it on his own. He looked down, Kenpachi had situated himself right in front of the television, apparently he wanted to watch the movie as well. Figuring he would get bored and leave shortly, Byakuya delicately sat himself on the end of Rukia's bed and watched the movie.

.........................................................................................................................................

Three and a half hours later, Byakuya was slightly confused. That was what made his sister cry? Sure it was a bit sad, but not tear inducing. Right?

Kenpachi thought otherwise it seemed.

"The ship.......cold.............let go...........iceberg.....dead!" Few words were understandable through the large captain's wails as he clung tightly to the bewildered Byakuya.

'I wasn't aware that Zaraki-Taicho was capable of crying.' Byakuya thought in wonder.

After a few minutes Kenpachi finally pulled himself together enough to announce that he was going to find Yachiru.

Still sniffling he made his way out leaving Byakuya wondering...What the hell just happened?
