a/n: This is a short crack pairing drabble that my friend wrote about us and I rewrote to upload here. It's based on our admin names on facebook... I know, crack pairings, WTF, but it's short. Enjoy.
Victoire and Fawkes
Victoire was nearing the ending of her third year when she was summoned to Professor McGonagall's, the headmistress's, office. She groaned and grumbled the entire walk there, unsure of why she was called, but convinced it didn't forebode well. She reached the gargoyle that concealed the entrance to McGonagall's office and uttered the password, "Godric", with boredom. The gargoyle sprung to life, revealing a moving staircase, which she quickly ascended before arriving at the door to the headmistress's office and rapping on it smartly. When nobody answered she pushed in the door slowly to find herself all alone. She took a seat while waiting, studying the portrait of Albus Dumbledore behind McGonagall's chair while thinking of her summer holidays and her plans to see Teddy. She got dreadfully bored waiting, wishing the old witch would hurry up.
"Where's McGonagall?" She groaned to herself, before hearing a small tapping noise behind her. She whipped her head around quickly, and saw the most majestic bird, with orange-red plume, sitting on a perch, staring at her intently. When her noticed her looking back, he ruffled his feathers and began strutting proudly, his fiery wings outstretched. In that instant, Victoire forgot everything, and just walked over to him, laying her smooth palm on his head. Fawkes gazed into her eyes, and began crying, his eyes filled with such loss and sadness. Victoire stared into his eyes, entrapped in his gaze, and as the flood of tears washed over her she felt herself being cleansed by the bird's tears. Everything in that moment seemed to hold and stretch on for eternity.
McGonagall walked in, intending to talk to Victoire, when she saw the two and sighed softly, with a small smile on her face. She watched the two lovers and mumbled, "After what happened with Drappleā¦"
