Godric Say's Good-bye
Nora sat alone in her home, reading a letter Godric had written her in the 1990's. She missed him, and would do anything to hear his soothing voice, and his gentle touch one more time.
-Flash back-
Godric sat in the dark dungeon like room, stroking Nora's hair, trying his best to sooth his baby vampire to sleep. Eric was gone on this day, so it was just Nora and Godric. "I forgot how anxious young vampires could be." Godric said rubbing his eye's. Nora scooted herself closer to her maker. Godric began singing a lull-a-bye in his dead language, and tho Nora didn't understand what he was saying, but it quickly lulled her to sleep.
When she woke Godric was still sitting there, her head still in the exact same spot in his lap, even though the sun had already set. "It's time to get up little one." Godric said in a very kind voice. Nora nodded and rubbed her eye's, still exhausted. After about 15 minutes, Godric finally coaxed her out of bed with the promise of food.
-End flash back-
Nora opened her eye's, her bottom quivering as bloody tears streamed down her face. She took a deep quivering breathe. "Nora." She heard Godric's voice. Nora raised her head, he was there. "Father?" her voice was shaky as she fell to her knee's. "You've returned to me Father?" Tears of sorrow and delight dripped onto her blue dress as she bowed her head.
"I never left you little one." Godric smiled, combing a lock of hair behind her ear. Nora laughed through her tears, Godric hadn't called her that in almost 600 hundred years. "That lull-a-bye, the one you used to sing when I was still young? What does it mean?" Nora asked, she had always wondered what it meant but never asked. Godric smiled and nodded, reviewing his memory.
Godric sat down next to her, running his fingers through her hair. "If we're never together, if I'm never back again, well then I swear to God that I'll love you forever." Godric smiled as Nora hummed along. She buried her face into her makers shirt, sobbing knowing he couldn't stay.
"I must go my child. But know, I will always be with you." Godric's voice faded as she felt his presents and his touch vanish. "Father please!" Nora pleaded, but he was gone. Her fist came up to her heart as her head dropped and tears of sadness poured out. "Good-bye Father." She cried out.
