Fang POV
We stayed at a hotel tonight. It sounded pretty luxurious.
Six mutant bird-kids with poor personal hygiene.
Ratty clothes and dirt on our face. I could go on and on and on...
How we got in, you ask?
Well, it had a lot of mind messing with the receptionist... ...
Anyways, Angel got us three rooms. There were only three available, anyway.
Nudge and Angel, obviously, picked to sleep together. Angel made Total join them.
Gazzy and Iggy, of course, decided they would crash in the same room.
That left Max and me... in the same room.

Max POV
Oh. My. Gosh. Fang and me in the same room?
He smiled/smirked at me. My heart skipped a beat.
"Well?" he looked at me expectantly. "Come on." Fang lead me into the hotel room.
Well, I just have to say... It. Was. Epic. The walls were white, and the carpet was blood-red.
Beautiful paintings hung from the walls, and an antique vase was carefully placed on a counter.
I gasped, and Fang snapped his head towards me, and did a quick 360.
"No, it's not that," I muttered and jumped onto the nearest bed.
I bounced and giggled like a little three-year-old on a trampoline.
Fang crossed his arms and sighed, leaning against the wall. "Why did we make you the leader, again?" he teased.
"'Because I'm the tough one'," I quoted from when we were at the School.
That's when I sat up and realized there was only one bed.
The room was designed for couples, and I felt like hurling and crawling to Nudge and Angel's room,
begging for them to let me stay in their room.
I hoped Fang would say something about the single bed, but he stayed silent.
I started to stare at him, thinking about how his silky black hair and his olive skin looked perfect together.
Fang looked at me, and he raised an eyebrow.
"Sorry!" I looked away, with a red face. "Let's just... go to sleep."
Fang nodded and waited for me to get in the covers. As I was half-asleep,
I felt a familiar body lie next to me. Fang started to stroke my hair and hummed me to sleep.
Tiny chapter.
No cliffhanger.
This just might be the weirdest Fanfic ever...
