Two worlds (Carlisle Cullen one-shot)

Carlisle strolled thru the market. He spotted a girl with pure blonde hair and electric blue eyes.
She was definitely not human.
"Hello", Carlisle said.
"Good day sir", she said. Her voice was musical, like his, but more like bells.
"If you don't mind me asking, are you completely human?" Carlisle asked.
Her eyes turned a shade darker. She was even more beautiful. "I don't see why that matters", she hissed.
"I mean no disrespect", Carlisle said.
"If you must know…I am a Fae", she said.
"Fascinating. I am a vampire", Carlisle said.
"I pray we meet again", she said.
They did meet again, shortly after the death of Carlisle's wife Esme.
"We meet again", Carlisle said.
"Indeed we do", she said, "I never asked your name".
"Carlisle Cullen", Carlisle said.
"Faylean Azure", she said.
"I see you proudly display your heritage", Carlisle said.
"Huh? Oh! My ears", Faylean said, "Yeah. I don't tend to hide them around people I know".
"How did you find me?" Carlisle asked.
"I was going to stay with you. I cleared it with the elders. They decided it was time for the 2 worlds to meet", Faylean said.
