Meant to take place after the events at Bad Wolf Bay... Rose reflects on the Doctor.

Trembling naked before the rising sun,
His first soft rays broke an end to my fear.
And as he rose, more warmth upon me fell,
Showering golden kisses on pale skin,
Respite from the cold harshness of the rain.
With open arms I welcomed beams of light,
Which danced carressingly along my limbs.
I looked, and viewed the world with newborn eyes,
Dazzled by colours I had never seen,
Rich, brilliant hues, stronger than a jewel.
Saturated with his love, I shone,
As he held me, enraptured by his glow,
'Til dusk drew near and he sank slowly down
I feared the night which I must face alone,
Tended by a pale, jealous moon,
Until my sun-king came for me again.
I lay upon the earth with daisies wild,
To await the promised return of dawn.
