((I'm going to try and make it seem as little, "Mary Sue" like as possible. After all, it's me and I am no where near one. XD
I only posted this first little bit, so I'll know if people would like to read more. Reviews are very welcome. ^_^))
The boy sat there on a cliff's edge, the vast ocean before him. He watched the sun rise and light the world making it turn into a different place. He always found himself drawn to sights like this, but he didn't come just for the beauty of it. No something more was on his mind.
"Maybe she'll come over the horizon like that?" he thought to himself, "Maybe she'll come when I least expect and be standing right there beside me?" That's what he would hope for, but more often than naught his mind would switch over, "I must be crazy. Not once did she anything about coming back...which why would she want to?" he bitterly asked. He picked up a stone next to him and threw it into the ocean as he remembered that time.
In quite a different place, a girl was admiring the sunset. She would often go in her back yard and lean against a big oak tree, but unlike the boy she did it when the sun set. She would go there to think about the day, anything that was on her mind, but lately...only one thing kept recurring. She held a small, red and white ball in her hand; it had so many memories in it.
"That was such a wonderful time, everything just felt right. I thought I was starting to move on, but I just can't" she pondered. "But what am I thinking? Why am I looking at it? Sure it was great, but that's all in the past. It's so childish of me to keep thinking of it." She would go back inside and set it back down in its usual location, trying to dismiss it. But every time she turned her back to leave something seemed to say,
"Remember..."
