In a rather nice, if not a little messy, flat in New York a certain warlock was in his living room. Today could be considered an average day. His boyfriend was sitting on the couch next to his boyfriend's brother. Of course, some might find it odd that two shadow hunters where visiting a warlock for no reason whatsoever. However, because this wasn't any warlock nor just a pair of shadow hunters, this was not an odd occurrence.

Anyway, while the two boys sat there conversing with the warlock, Magnus Bane was working on a summoning spell he had found in the book that Clary had given to him. It was said to summon a very powerful weapon from a far away land. Most people would not even attempt this, in case the thing that was summoned was uncontrollable. But, as they say, curiosity killed the cat.

So, the high warlock of Brooklyn began to chant the inscription above the pentagram. The lines etched into the floor began to glow as he continued chanting. Alec and Jace, the two afore mentioned shadow hunters, watched with interest.

Then, to everyone's surprise, a pale blonde head, silvery really, popped out of the ground. "You called?" it said in a very childlike voice that only served to make it seem even more disturbing.

Eyes wide, they watched as the pentagram glowed more and the head grew into a body. At his full hight, he seemed to tower over them all. Looking around the room he asked, "You are not England. Who are you?" in that same childish voice.

"I'm Magnus Bane, high warlock of Brooklyn, this is Alec Lightwood, and that's Jace Lightwood," the warlock worked up the nerve to get out.

Looking around more, he questioned, "Where am I?"

"You're in New York," said Magnus.

"New York? As in America?" as he asked this, his creepy smile seemed to grow wider.

"Y-yes."

"Oh, that's nice. Maybe I can say hello to Америка before I return home, da." With that, he began to walk out the door.

"S-stop demon!" Jace finally spoke up.

Turning around, the huge man asked, "Who, me?"

Pulling out a seraph blade, Jace pointed it at the man. "What are you?" he demanded.

"Oh? I'm Russia." With that, he walked out the door. None of them understood his question, nor did they expect to ever see him again.

Oddly enough though, about a year later while a world meeting was being held in New York, Alec and Magnus were having lunch at a small café which happened to be near the meeting place, and Alec could have sworn he saw that man they had summoned. He was sitting in a booth on the other side of the café with what appeared to be an average American teenager.
