One fine new day in San Diego, Rabbit and The Jon had the lovely idea to film The Spine's life, starting in the early morning when they first went online(woke up) in their hotel room near the Zoo. They awoke at the crack of dawn, hid behind the suite couch, and decided on a game plan for how to catch their brother's morning routine on tape. Discreetly so as to not alert a groggy The Spine of their presence, Rabbit passed a video camera to The Jon, and began the recording by speaking with a low tone in a broken RP British accent. While The Jon filmed The Spine yawning, Rabbit droned, "The mighty Stegosaurus releases a deafening roar upon awakening from its slumber. In a p-puh-powerful breath from it's bellows, it vanquishes steam from its vents, just as an aging n-n-neural circuit eliminates me-memories of youth."

"Crikey, ain't he a beauty." He stopped upon hearing the art deco robot, who had been filming, add an unscripted phrase into the video in a decidedly australian accent.

Rabbit looked over at The Jon in annoyance. "You can't just do that," he whispered angrily, voice reverting to the normal Brooklyn-esque accent.

The Jon merely tilted his head and ignored this, then proceeded to continue in Irwinspeak. "Stegs are well known predators."

"No they're not Th' Jon."

"They can sleep up to twenty-seven hours a day-"

"Jon there aren't even t-twenty-seven hours in a day."

"-and whoa! Dija see that? He's turning right towards us! That's one sharp Steg."

The Jon zoomed in on their brother's now-extended back plates, before returning the camera's focus to angular face of The Spine. For the brief second that Rabbit set his pride aside, he was horrified to find that the silver automaton was not only up and awake, but was staring directly at the camera.

Unconcerned, The Jon continued. "Stegs are known to have a keen sense of hearing. You never know when they're gonna catch you filming and-"

The Spine, still in sleepwear (would it shock the readers much to find that he wears a human bath robe?) and looking cranky and murderous, walked towards his brothers and snatched the camera from The Jon. Rabbit smiled guiltily. The Jon looked from the camera to The Spine, and finally turned to Rabbit.

"Crikey. He's a feisty one, ain't he?"
