Hello everyone! Sooo, as I promised, uh, two years ago, here is a new fem!Kaito story. Kind of.
The idea just wouldn't leave my mind and I've been thinking constantly of it. This is a multi-chapter fiction and I don't know exactly where it is going, but I have the main plot in mind.
Enjoy !
Disclaimer: I do not own Detective Conan nor Magic Kaito.
Rating: For everyone, at the moment. But it will go up overtime!
Sitting at their desk in the back of the classroom, a seventeen years old teenager wasn't paying much attention to the teacher. In Ekoda, the course on sequences and series was the first one they had studied this year, and it wasn't all that hard in their opinion. Listening now would be redundant.
Not that they could actually focus. Their mind was too busy processing their current situation.
Teitan High School was quite the ordinary school. There was no massive interruption during classes – well, two days before, during the chemistry class, a gas was unleashed in the classroom during a failed experiment, but they were sure that Kudo-guy had caused it on purpose in order to sneak out. The whole incident had lasted five minutes and the teacher didn't seem to notice (or to care) that a student was missing afterwards. But no explosion of glitter and confetti, no screaming enraged avenger threatening their bones with a mop, no applause or laughter erupted in the classroom while their teacher rolled her eyes fondly before processing to yell at them.
Now again, if the usual main troublemaker actually caused trouble, there would probably be a better atmosphere. But they couldn't be the only entertainer of all Tokyo now, could they?
Boring. Were all schools usually this dull?
"Haguro-kun!"
They glanced at the yelling voice. Ah, that was almost nostalgic.
Yamano-sensei was fuming while staring at them, her hands on her hips. Quite angry and annoyed, too.
They felt like smiling. There was the tingling sensation of butterflies fluttering in their stomach. She was trying to seduce them, wasn't she? Oh, how they loved when people got upset because of them. Wait- They looked around the classroom. They hadn't disturbed her class at all. Why would she be angry?
"Did you listen to anything I was saying?"
They blinked. Weeeeell.
She pointed at an equation on the board. "Come here and solve this. Now."
Oh dear. There were still teachers who reacted like this nowadays? Usually, it was considered a good day when they actually didn't pay attention to their surroundings.
They restrained themself from rolling their eyes and stood up. Geometric series. A simple one. Tch, was she really disturbing them for this?
Once they reached the front of the class, they took a white chalk and started to write monotonously on the board.
Was this even real? It sure felt much more like a weird dream. A nightmare, really. Like that dream about Hakubaro and Ahoko marrying. They felt the hand holding the chalk twitch. Ughh. Then again, at least they had though of a quick solution at the time. Obviously, they had crashed the marriage. They remembered vividly throwing Hakuba in a tank full of terrible aquatic evil creatures, before running away with Aoko thanks to their hang-glider, flying straight to Paris, and somehow the dream had ended up with the both of them eating ice cream while watching the sun set from the top of the Eiffel Tower.
A soft smile crossed their lips at the memory. Yeah, that's what the Kurobas do. They take your worst nightmare, and change it into a sweet and happy ending.
"That's correct," Yamano-sensei nodded, unblinking. "Please try to pay attention from now on."
They placed the chalk back in its box, and walked back to their seat, without paying attention to their teacher who was now narrowing her eyes at them. So, maybe they were being rude. That wasn't their main concern at the moment.
Now, how were they supposed to arrange this nighmare for the better? They didn't even know where to start! ... Well, uh, they sort of did, kind of, but that was just asking for more trouble than they had signed up for. The organization had become more serious about hunting them down, but this...?
They needed a plan to get back at them. Find their labs, their HQ, more information concerning their whereabouts, whichever. But they couldn't allow themself to remain a simple obstacle in the quest of Pandora.
No, it wasn't a race anymore. An actual battle had begun.
And they would not run away from it. Promise of the future Greatest Magician in the World.
To be continued.
Voila!
It's a bit short but, this is some sort of preview after all. Next chapters should be way longer :D
I'm looking for a beta, mainly to help me correct my grammar, seeing that English is not my first language. Anyone?
If you enjoyed it or if you're a bit curious, drop a review and let me know your opinion please? (a)
Love
