Author's Note: I know I really should tend to my other fanfics, but I keep on writing different stuff. Here's a poem about ... pirate stuff (I know no better way to describe it). Please reveiw

Mysteries lurking, hiding,

Secrets living, breathing,

Dangerous when revealed.

---

Smiling faces,

Gold and jewels,

What hides behind

This wonderful façade?

---

Danger, mystique,

Adventure, excitement.

A Pirate's Life for me!

---

Dirt and grime

And lots of blood, too.

A Pirate's Life for me!

---

Captain Jack with

His wonderful hat

Swept away by the wind.

---

A ruthless pirate lord

With shining pistol

And sharp, pointy sword.

---

"Take what ye can,

give nothin' back!"

Mater Gibbs and Captain Jack

Will chorus before embarking on

An epic journey that may end their lives.

---

It is not all glory and glamour,

It is death and danger and deceit

Romanticized in books and movies

Made to become profitable – not reliable.

---

But hey, it is still fun

To watch on the big screen.

To laugh at Captain Jack

And scream in terror

As the bad guys kill.
