Re: New Character
Due to our low ratings, you recently sent out a memo on how we need to work on the new show.
I have enclosed a brief look into the life of my character.
Matthew Black ducked behind one of the numerous guests at the boring family party. His father had set up a game for him and his twin, Alex. If they could find all the clues, they would find the person they led to. Every person at the party was in on the scheme, but when you made a mistake, you had to start over with a new question.
A fly went past his face, landing on his nose. He shook his head, black hair, which wasn't very long, settling back into place when he stopped. Green eyes scanning the room, he looked at the card again.
Only way you'll find me,
Is if you look real hard.
I'm sort of hard to see,
If you don't look sharp.
But, I am, incredibly Cuete.
When you find me-say "when I need a clue, I haven't got one"
His father could not spell worth a dime, that's what made it hard. Who was cute in here?
He surveyed the guests. Cute, cute. Girls chit-chatting. One shooting pool. She was short, and the cue stick was taller than her. He did a double take, and rechecked the clue. Cue, short, it all fit.
At that moment he spotted his twin talking with a grey haired man, and he rushed over to her.
"When I need a clue, I haven't got one." She smiled at him, and, grinning, pulled another clue out of her pocket.
At that moment, his little sister walked out into the room, clinging onto their mother's hand. They walked over to Alex and his little sister took the paper from his hand.
"What's this?"
"Nothing Rhia, give it back." He snatched the paper back. They had a brief tug-of-war, Rhia aided by Gen, her mother. With a ripping sound, the paper split in two. Then, their father was by their side.
"Up, now you've got to start over again."
"No, I've still got the clue." And he seized the other half of the paper and ran off, to resume his "treasure hunt."
