"We're approaching Besaid," Buddy announced from his seat at the front of the Celsius.

"Yes!" Rikku shouted and pumped her fists in the air. "Finally, we get to get off this airship!"

"It's only been two days since we were in Luca," Paine reminded.

"I know," Rikku chirped, "But there is bound to be a HUGE party in Besaid!"

"Celebrating the Eternal Calm again," Paine mused, "let's hope it lasts this time."

Yuna stood towards the back of the Bridge, lost in her own thoughts. The Eternal Calm. Would it last this time? Even if it did, she would find no joy in it. She still hadn't found him. The Fayth had asked her if she wanted to see him and of course she had eagerly told them yes, but so far, nothing that even remotely resembled him. He really was gone. She would have to accept that.

"Hey Yunie," Rikku called form her seat at the front of the airship, "Don't be so bummed. It's party time! First we'll hit Besaid, then Luca, then Kilika, then Bevelle…"

Yuna tuned out her perky younger cousin and went back to her own forlorn thoughts. All the parties in the world wouldn't make her feel better.

"Looks like the citizens of Besaid have come to welcome us," Buddy commented as they did a flyby of the island, "They're all headed for the beach. I see Lulu and Wakka and…" He trailed off. "Hey, who's that in the water?"

Yuna looked up, wondering who could be in Besaid that Buddy wouldn't recognize. After all, they had been all over Spira in the last few weeks and had met almost everyone.

"Holy crap!" Brother exclaimed excitedly, "It's Shuyin!"

Yuna's stomach did a flip. Shuyin was gone. He had followed Lenne to the Farplane. He couldn't be in the water. But it could be…

Yuna's thoughts were interrupted as Rikku shouted, "Yunie, come quick! It's him!"

A thousand thoughts ran through Yuna's mind as she dashed to the front of the bridge. She looked out the massive window and saw a lone man standing in the water about a 100 feet from the beach. He looked up as they approached. Yuna's heart skipped a beat. She would recognize that face anywhere.

"Brother, take us in as low as you can," Yuna ordered, "I'm jumping off."

"WHAT?!" Brother demanded but Yuna was already running up the stairs in the back.

She ran down the hallway and jumped into the elevator. She pushed the button for the cargo hold and fidgeted nervously as the elevator made it's slow decent into the bowels of the ship. It finally stopped and Yuna was racing down the hallway before the door was even fully opened. She felt the Celsius slow down and pushed the button to drop the cargo hatch. She was hit with a gust of wind and water but she didn't care.

Yuna ran down the cargo ramp and jumped into the water. Her mind was working overtime and she didn't know how she managed to land on her feet, but she did and ran through the water to his waiting arms.

The idea for this just popped into my head. It's nothing really. I was just bored. Review if you like but I don't expect too many.
