Speechless did not go well on Danny. He was a loud, emotional man full of flailing limbs, sarcastic banter, and a laundry list of stuff he found wrong with Steve. He was never, ever quiet, and, if McGarrett were being honest, he was kind of scared.

"The important thing is nobody was hurt," Steve said kindly, hoping it'd spark a reaction out of Danny. The blond Jersey native merely stayed quiet, his eyes fixed straight ahead. "And insurance will probably help you get a new one." Still nothing. "And I'm sorry…"

"Car," Danny finally said, gesturing to his beloved Mustang. "Car, Steven, car! My car is in pieces because of you! Do you have any idea how much I slaved away to afford that car? Huh, Steve, do ya?" he stabbed his finger into Steve's chest. "I doubt you do because you don't value other people's property! And another thing…" As Danny continued to rant and rave, his hands flailing everywhere, Steve couldn't help the smile that slowly spread across his face. Yes, loud and angry were definitely better on Danny; all was right with the world.

I have not written for this show in... a few months I think, but today I re-watched the pilot because I was just in the mood for Danny and Steve feels (just not together) and I saw the Mustang that never stood a chance. In reality, I think the show is just sponsored by Chevy or something, which is why the poor Mustang only had one episode, but I decided to give it a proper send off anyway.

So, thanks for reading, I do not own what is not mine, and leave me a comment if you can.

See ya!
