Kagome awoke suddenly, sweat dripping and adrenaline pumping. 'It was just a nightmare' she thought. She didn't see the red eyes watching her from the shadows. She didn't have time to react until it was too late.

Mrs. Leech talked endlessly about European history in her dull, monotone voice and Kagome felt her mind slipping away. She had been falling asleep in class lately due to her lack of at home. She kept being haunted by horrible nightmares in which someone keeps trying to attack her and she can't escape.
"Kagome!" She heard Mrs. Leech's scream followed by the loud crash a ruler hitting her desk. "Out to the hall now!"
While out in the hall, a bright sing caught her attention. It spoke about a part that night, all the beer you could want and more held at the abandoned building on South Street. It sounded like fun and since she knew she wasn't going to be able to sleep anyway. Why not? She just managed to read the time, ten, when the principle saw it and ripped it off the wall as fast he could.
Later that night Kagome's best friends, Nikki and Alisha, came over to help her get ready for the party.
"How about the outfit?" Alisha asked holding a tube top and the tiniest skirt Kagome owned.
"No way! I don't want to be the party slut. Pick out something more modest."
"Fine suit yourself." Alisha said rolling her eyes and laying the clothes down.
"Oh, how about this?" Nikki held up a fitted black tee and a plaid mini skirt.
It was perfect, after she put her clothes on she quickly did her hair and makeup. In five minutes she was ready to go. The arrived at the party right on time and already she saw drunk guys stumbling everywhere. 'Must have stared early.' Kagome had never really been into the drunk guys. She preferred mature guys, which being a senor in high school, was hard to find.
Then she spotted him across the room. His sparkling eyes caught her attention and he smiled, revealing beautiful while teeth, at her when he noticed her staring. He had long white hair which was the top of was hidden by a black baseball hat. As a matter of fact, his whole outfit was in black.
"Who's that guy standing over there next to the table?" She inquired Nikki, who told her he was a new student all the way from Romania.
"Oh, a foreign guy. That's kinda sexy."

His eyes never left her from the second she walked in. she was so beautiful he knew he had to have her and was excited to her checking him out as well. He became even more excited when he saw her coming closer. "Hi," she said. "I'm Kagome. What's your name?"
"Hello, I'm Cosmin. Can I get you a drink?" He motioned toward the many six-packs stacked up behind him.
"Sure I would love one, but only one. I'm not able to hold my alcohol very well."
That was all he needed to hear. He smiled at knowing her weakness and she smiled back and he laughed to himself, she had no idea on what he planning to do her.
