Chapter 1, Captains intro.
Jason Beras had started his career as an Orion Pirate working on a ship called MansBane, supposed to be the most dangerous pirate legend of all the Milky Way but Andromeda was to be the captain's next target but a strange ship attacked and did considerable damage to the MansBane. It wielded so much power and shield strength that even our power had gone out a few times but then the capain pulled out the big guns, the famous yet rare Phased Torpedos and the first hit scared off the alien craft.Jason had taken over command, as he was the First Officer, after the battle had ended for the captain had said he was exhausted even though he was the least injured person on the ship.Jason had barely taken care of the next destination when he had found that there was an overwhelming amount of things to take under control and he just couldn't take it. When he had prepared the next destination he had not thought of the damge done to the ship. It had hull breaches on nearly every deck and though the engineers worked so hard they could not charge a shield so they changed coarse to a nearby docking station for heavy repairs.
