I remember meeting her when I was nine. We were in the same fourth grade class, and from the moment she walked up and smiled I knew we would be friends. Also, she lived next door.

"Hi, I'm Bridgette, but you can call me Bee."

"Cool. I'm Lexi." I said, replying. Her green eyes innocently batted. "I like your shirt."

"Really? Thanks. I wasn't so sure about going to a new school. You're nice." she said. Her little blonde pigtails bounced when she talked, and I remember being envious.

A year later, she came to my birthday. I remember when Alysia picked on me, she was there.

"Hey, leave her alone. It's her birthday!" I remember Bee saying. Her little hands were on her hips and she walked up to Alysia fearlessly.

When we were eleven we went on vacation together. Her twin brother, Cody, I remember him poking us from the back seat. I remember Bee being aggravated.

Now, at twelve, we got a lot closer.

Bee let me pierce her ears in March. I was slightly impressed. I still have those awkward videos of us belting out Taylor Swift all night long on my iPod.

So many memories. Bee…well, she's Bee. She's never tried makeup for as long as I've known her. EVER!

I love you, Bumblybee. Thanks for being my best friend. Happy big thirteen, Bee. You deserve it.
