Jo smiled as Kendall dropped the thirty-first water balloon on Katie's head for the day. "Another one bites the dust," he chuckled, looking over to his girlfriend.
She blinked slowly and kissed his cheek. "You're crazy," she said, dropping a balloon on Carlos's head as he passed under the doorway that led into the lobby of the Palmwoods.
"And that's why you love me, right?" he asked.
She could read it in his dark eyes that he was actually asking that question seriously, not just a joke. For true clarification.
"Sure," she said, putting a hand on his back. "Let's go with that."
A frown turned the corners of his lips downwards and he stared at her hard. His brow furrowed in confusion. "What?"
"This is why I love you." She shoved him hard using her hand that had been on his back and he toppled down from the roof of the building and watched him fall into the massive pool below with a massive, cannonball-like echoing splash that soaked the poolside around it.
Her eyes followed him as he came up from below the surface. "WHAT WAS THAT FOR?" he yelled from below, shaking his head, water droplets flying everywhere.
"To prove a point," she called back down blowing him a kiss before leaving the rooftop for her own apartment so that she could get some rest.
