I do not own the mcu and its characters, but I do own Elisabeth Reyes.
It was a usual day for me, I went to high school and learned. I was 17 years old, I had dark blonde hair that reached just below my shoulders and blue/grey eyes. Little did I know that my usual day was not going to last long, I was walking towards the bus with my head in the clouds. It was pretty windy as I strolled between the tall apartment buildings, my military green bomber jacket only did so much. The clouds above the started to become darker abnormally fast.
What the hell? Its spring, come on. If it starts raining this day is going to be the worst. I started to run slightly but slowed down sharply when I felt a weird tingling sensation in my chest. What is that. I picked up my pace again and got about 40 feet before the sensation returned once again. This time I stood still, trying to understand this feeling. The sky started to rumble and rain came down on me, I frankly didn't care now.
I was just about to take a step forward on the now wet asphalt, however that's when a beaming light erupted infront of me. The light wasn't just white but it had blue, orange and pink tones in different places. My whole vision was now covered with this light but then I lost consciousness. When I became aware again I funnily felt completely dry, since it was raining before. Someone must have seen me and got help. But to more important things, why are my eyes still closed. I opened my eyes, what I saw was a quite surprise.
It was tree branches of a large tree, the sun peaked trough between some of the thick branches. I sat up and looked around in confusion, I was sitting in a park and I wasn't alone. There were some people that looked like they were jogging. No one payed any attention to me, I was starting to freak out now. Where am I?! I stood up quickly frantically looking around and earning some weird looks from the people passing the tree I was standing under. I decided to ask someone where I can find the nearest police station. I walked up to a man sitting on one of the benches, he was starting to grey by the temples and was wearing a suit.
When I came up to him he looked up and smiled kindly at me. "Hi, Do you know where the closest police station is?" I asked with a surprisingly steady voice. The man gave me a confused look and then said. "Quoi? Je ne comprends pas." (What? I don't understand.) Is he speaking french? He is, shit. "Excuses-moi." (Excuse me.) I told him and walked away. Where am I? I walked out of the park to see extremely tall buildings, I recognized the city. Holy crap, I'm in New York! I ran forward and into the mass of people shuffling around. I could've screamed in frustration, before I passed out I was in Scotland not USA. Wait, then why did that guy speak French?
Turns out walking around a city you have never been in before is quite intimidating, I had no idea where I was. With the buildings looming over me and the loud traffic around me, it made me feel very small. While I was trudging trough Manhattans streets I overheard a group of preteens talking excitedly about something while pointing to one of the ridiculously tall buildings. "Dude, Thor is the strongest!" Said one of them. "No way! Captain America totally is the strongest Avenger!" Exclaimed another one. Oh yeah, kiddos. I like the Avengers to. I smiled to myself and then looked to where the kids were pointing only to find myself gaping. It was the Avenger Tower in all its glory. But the tower doesn't exist!
