Ring Locket
Author's Notes: I don't own Liberty's Kids. If I did, it would still be on PBS Kids and Sarah and James would be married. But I have been re-watching episodes on Kewl Cartoons and am finally publishing a Liberty's Kids story here. :) This is 100 words (not counting title or author's notes).
"Where'd you get the gold?" Sarah asked.
James hid his hands behind his back. "Are you sure you like it?"
"Your ring!" Sarah realized.
Hours later…
Sarah walked into her room, writing another letter.
Dearest Mother,
I just found out today that James is an ORPHAN! His parents died during a housefire. How awful.
The only memory he still has of them is his mom's ring, which he made into a new locket for me. Though I miss father's old one, I think James is finally turning into a loveable gentleman I might want to marry some day.
