At The Winter Carnival
Naruto wouldn't admit it out loud to anyone but he was in love. With a guy. The most arrogant asshole in the whole world to be specific. Sasuke Uchiha to be exact. He wouldn't admit it because the goddam teme was straight as an arrow.
Naruto was lying in his bed sighing about his unrequited love. He was staring up at the ceiling when a dark blue and black blur jumped on the bed and pinned him there. Naruto glared up at the person pinning him down until he saw that it was Sasuke then he rolled his eyes.
"What do you want Sasuke?" he asked.
"I want to know why you've been so sad lately." said Sasuke.
"And I've told you that it's none of your business." said Naruto.
Sasuke sighed then looked down at Naruto.
"I'm just worried about you Naruto. You've been more and more depressed lately and you barely hang out, fight, or talk to me anymore." he said.
Naruto felt a pang in his chest at the sadness and wistfulness in Sasuke's voice.
"I just... I'm tired of the way that the village treats me. It's not fair." Naruto said looking away from Sasuke's probing eyes.
Sasuke was quiet for a minute then he got up pulling Naruto to his feet also. He ignored Naruto's questions and dragged the blonde out of his apartment and down the street to the winter carnival. When they got to the booth in the front that gave stamps the council stopped them.
"I thought we told you never to come to any events demon." said one of the elders.
A crowd was already forming around them because the villagers thought that the council would have Naruto executed.
"I'm sorry but my friend didn't tell me where we were going." said Naruto hoping to avoid a fight.
"Don't imply that anyone from the Uchiha clan is your friend. Monsters like you don't have friends." said a different elder.
"What the hell? No wonder he gets depressed and has masks. You people have put him down all his life. He has lots of friends and I am one of them." said Sasuke angrily.
He then grabbed Naruto's hand and pulled him off in the direction of Ichiraku's. While they were eating the ramen, Sasuke was fuming about what the council said.
"You know that I don't think you're a monster, right Naruto?" Sasuke asked to clear the air.
"And why not? Everybody knows I am." Naruto muttered sadly.
Sasuke grabbed Naruto's chin and made her look at him. He then closed the gap between them and kissed Naruto softly. Naruto hesitantly kissed back.
"I love you." said Sasuke showing his sincerity with his eyes.
"I love you too Sasuke." Naruto replied.
So the two ran away to live out the rest of their lives happily.
