PROLOGUE
"What is this parallel world?" asked Kabuto Yakushi as he adjusted his glasses.
"The children in this other world have an unusual amount of energy," said Orochimaru as he pulled up a picture of Silver Wing, Valencia Royal, and Areku Justice in the halls of Clinton Park. "By bringing them here, I hope to discover if this energy is dormant chakra. You've done well to find these 3."
"Thank you, Lord Orochimaru," said Kabuto as he bowed. "They do indeed bear some likeness to the Ancient Masters. Now I only have 10 more to find, then you can plunder their servants. Why does the Zodiac matter to you?"
"They were said to more powerful than the bijuu themselves," said Orochimaru as three purple snakes appeared. He smiled as he said, "They should be arriving shortly. Choose one of them and send them my regards."
"As you wish," said Kabuto before going his way. 'Why do I feel some kind of connection with this Areku girl? It doesn't matter. There is a fierce hate in her heart as well as a lust for power. She'll do nicely to serve among Lord Orochimaru's ranks. Now all I have to do is to find her.'
Kabuto made his way quickly through the forests towards Konoha where Areku lay outside the village on a hill, Valencia on the weapons shop roof, and Silver floating in the river. These three were asleep, unaware that they were about to discover who they really were.
