"It's so good to see you again." She said as she smiled and brushed a strand of her golden locks out of her eyes. "It's been so busy at home these past few years, but the family and I are doing well. In fact, just last week Jane helped me plant some petunias in our garden... it helped brighten up the place." She sighed and a large smile spread on her face as she looked up. "Oh and Andrew has grown up so fast, can you believe he's already in the third grade? And the time sure has flew by with Jane and Molly, they are such well-mannered young ladies now." She sighed as a tear leaked from her face, she was so proud of her children. But that tear wasn't pride. Sure, it had been nearly nine years since her husband's passing, but that didn't mean she was over with the loss yet, the shock was surely gone, but the emptiness in her soul was still there. "God... Andrew... you never got to meet him... you'd love him so much... I still love you..." She quietly sat next to the grave and spoke between sobs. "Dear god Henry! You know I love you!" She gasped for air as her heart pounded and the tears came streaming down her face. "Why'd they have to take you from me!?" Why, she whispered, over and over again. Her beloved was gone, forever. Never got to say I'm back honey! No I missed you so much! Never will he kiss her, never will he hold his kids, never... will he ever come home. No longer was she Mrs. Blake, just Ms. Blake the widow. Destined to take care of herself, her home, and children. Her husband was gone, and she could do nothing about it.

Lorraine stood up. She wiped her eyes, only to cry again. "I can never imagine what hell you faced over there... I don't think I ever want to." She smiled weakly and turned to walk home. "We'll talk later, darling..."
