Memories Of What Should Be

Disclaimer: I own nothing but the words of my poem and the plot in my head, for if I did, nothing more would be said.

Thinking of what we had in mind

Only leaves my heart in a bind

Memories of what should be

Leaves me alone and empty

We should be planning the wedding, laughing and loving each other

But instead I'm 20 years in the past, and she's been token from me forever

When I think back to that horrid night

I just can't help but to think of the awful fight

It all started with one simple sentence

I interrupted him, I was the menace

If only I had thought of her

That event would have never had to occur

I can't help but feel at blame

But once more I know I will speak her name

It will be gentle, soft and full of love

We will be happy once and for all

And I'm the one that has to make the call

It will be though, but do not fear

For this mission is for no one but you, my dear

I love you forever Bianca, one things for sure

My love for you is pure

Just as the sun sets on the skies

My love for you never dies

Dreams, memories and plans to come

All will be done, yes my dear, all will be done
