Happy Akuroku Day 2010, everyone!

Also happy Friday the 13th XD

-enjoy-

Life in the organization was hard.
You had to go through your routines day by day by day, going on missions, eating with the rest of the members, occasionally having some spare time to yourself, and when that was over...you do it again.
It was monotonous.
Lonely.
All of them pretended to have friends, pulling forth memories from when they were Somebodies, when they had hearts to be able to interact with people with, to be able to fall in love, to be able to be human.
But all they had to depend on were those fragments of the lives they used to have.
Those lives that were long gone.
Demyx still seemed to believe that they all had hearts, but no one listened to Demyx. He was just being stupid.
But in a small way...they all were listening to him.
Roxas knew that more than a few of the other members were cozied up in different spots in the castle, clinging to their own little realities.
Last time he'd seen Demyx, the sitar player had been walking towards the library, which seemed like a rare occurance, until he noticed Zexion walking next to him, their fingers linked in a shaky, fragile way, so that if anyone of a higher rank was to walk by, they could separate at a moments notice, breaking off to walk in opposite directions. Roxas walked down one of the castle's other stark, empty, halls, listening to his footsteps echo around him, the night sky outside the window casting his shadow onto the opposite wall, slightly distorted as he got farther down the hallway.
What he was about to do was almost routine by now as well.
The blonde raised his hand, knocking, and opened the door, once given a verbal signal that he could enter.
As he walked to the center of the room, the zipper on his coat was tugged down and the fabric slid to the ground, and he stepped out of it, pausing for a moment to undo and discard his silver-topped boots as well, before scooting over to the other nobody on the bed, catching their eyes.
Roxas was tugged underneath the sheets, and arms were wrapped around him, holding him in place. Not restraining, just holding. He could leave at any time if he decided that this was all just a foolish attempt at normalcy.

Life in the organization was indeed hard at times.
Maybe this was all fake.
Maybe they didn't have hearts at all, even though they all forced themselves to lie to every fiber of their non-being that they did.
Maybe it was all a horrible dream that none of them could ever wake up from again.
But as Roxas lay there, eyes blinking to stay awake, the heat radiating from Axel's body and the soothing hand that traced up and down his bare back making him unbearably tired happiness doesn't exist/, he decided that even if all of this was just a lie... even if it was all fake...he wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.

Yes I snuck some Zemyx in there as well XD
