I don't own F.F. 10. Wish I did but, Squaresoft/Square Enix does.
Here's a way the story could begin. I might keep this up but I doubt with my other story and real life taking precedence over this. Doesn't matter how long it is, just try to make it god. I was surprised that there weren't more stories with this general plot thing, if you know of any give me a url please.
I challenge you to continue this or make a story with Tidus as a summoner!!
Final Fantasy X Challenge
"Hey! Wake up already! Today is the day you go into the cloyster of trials, you don't want to be late ya?" asks Wakka as he tries to get me to wake up.
"I had the weirdest dream…" I trail off, "Everyone was in it. Even cousin Rikku…" the the last part I say in a whisper so Wakka won't hear. I know he has no love for my cousin and her people. "I'm up already, don't worry. There's no way I'd miss this. The day I become a summoner…Like my father."
"Well, Lulu and Khimari will be waiting at the temple entrance when you're ready. I'm gonna head to the beach and practice with the team. Gonna do our best at the tournament, ya!" Wakka exclaims as he heads out the door.
I smile as he goes out. I know it must be hard on them to watch me do this. Especially for Wakka and Lulu. They're like my family since my father, High summoner Braska, brought the calm ten years ago. I had been an apprentice for six months when he claimed his victory over Sin. I stand up and walk over to the dresser in the small room I share with Wakka and Lulu. A picture of my father, mother and I lay in a plain looking frame. I take it out of the frame and put it in one of the hidden pockets I have sewn into my robes.
When I make it out to the village square, I look at the people walking around. 'If I'm successful, I can bring the calm to the people of Spira for a few more years.' I think to myself as I start the small walk to the temple of Besaid.
Lulu gives me a small sad smile as I walk up to her. "Are you ready, Tidus?" She asks. I blow a small locke of dark-brown with blonde highlights out of my eyes, "Yes Lu, I am."
All through the cloyster I can't help but wonder if that's a twisted take on what could have happened or some wish that it wasn't me that had to do this… I can't help but think on what my father once told me. Always smile and never give up.
That marks the end of the prologue of the challenge, and possible new fanfic. Hopefully, some people will take this challenge up and help explore a seldom used direction.
