Lord of Lies
Before me is the Lord of Lies.
A demon deep in my mind's eye.
His illusions, struggle to defy.
But still, I have to fight.
…
His magic's all-encompassing,
His maw is huge and ravening,
On my forehead sweat is glistening,
But for this world, I'll set things right.
…
This Lesser Evil's now revealed.
His illusions can no more conceal,
Caldeum's joy, he long has stealed,
But the stone's prison, it beckons.
…
All together, mortals all.
All of us still standing tall.
Will fight until Belial falls,
With fate, we shall all reckon.
…
So then at last, the final blow.
Belial screams in his death's throes.
Into the stone his essence goes,
And the palace is untouched.
…
From our duty not yet free.
But we're spared this world some misery.
Our duties are not charity,
But for those here, they are much.
