Eye of The Storm- Introduction

The eye of a tropical storm is a region of mostly calm weather at the center of the cyclone, typically about 30-65 km. They say that in the eye of the storm, the weather is calm, the sky is clear, and the winds are just light breezes. However, it is surrounded by the eyewall, a ring of towering thunderstorms where most of the severe weather occurs.

Is it better to be in the eye of the storm, where peace and tranquility is a false sense of notion, to be oblivious to everything going on? Or is it better to be in the midst of it all, fighting the storm?

What does this mean for seventeen-year old Clary Fray, happily in a relationship with her best friend, unaware of everything happening around her? What happens when all she ever knew was a lie? What happens when she realizes she is not in a peaceful harmony, but in the center of the eye of the storm? What will she do and how will she ever break free?
