Under the moonlight
I stood waiting,
Waiting only for him.
He didn't take long,
For soon I saw him approaching me.
Walking under the moonlight.
He greeted me as we met,
Then held each other in an embrace.
We broke and headed for his car,
And drove to the prom.
Driving under the moonlight.
We danced the night away,
With only each other in our minds.
We left the crowded room for a private balcony,
And danced alone with each other.
Dancing under the moonlight.
We tired soon and stopped to rest,
With my head on his chest.
We were admiring the full moon,
And I turned to face him.
And we kissed, under the moonlight.
