Donna, Groot, Ben, and Lea were for Donna's get-together. Samantha, Emma, Sydney, and Payton came in with chocolate madeleines, cheese fondue, apple raisin sandwiches and lemonade. They were food Emma learned to make in her cooking classes while they were in France.
"I can't believe we missed out on some French cooking in Paris," Sydney said.
"You did learn about British cooking while we were out of town," Emma replied.
"Oh, yeah," Sydney recalled.
"I'll get the popcorn ready," Payton replied.
In the living room, Animal smelled the food. Donna sensed Animals hunger and decided to go after him. "Animal," she shouted, "The food is for the guests!"
"French food, French food." Animal shouted.
Just then the door rang, "Could you get the door, Syd" Donna said, "I need to keep Animal from eating the food."
By the door, Sydney was greeted by 5 familiar faces, "Bram, Simon, Nick, Abby, Leah, you came." Syd smiled.
"We did," Simon replied, "We wouldn't miss the DVD production of Desire and Decorum for nothing."
"How's Nora?" Sydney asked.
"She's volunteering at the library." Leah explained, "Needs a little experience in being a music archivist.
Donna came by to greet them, "Hey Donna," said Abby, "I'm glad we came to see you for D and D, especially when your crazy cousin is out of the house."
"Yeah, Cousin Rocket is at a DJ gig at the mall," Donna explained.
"Got the popcorn ready," shouted Payton.
"Nice work, Pay Pay," Donna replied.
"So what are Desire and Decorum about?" Nick asked.
"It's about when pig farm girl, "Consuela Hurtado" learns that she's one of the most eligible heiresses in England." Donna explained, "Her long-lost father turns out to be Earl Vincent of Edgewater."
"That sounds interesting," Nick replied,
"Back in Philly, Dad use to watch that." Bram recalled, "It reminded me of Pride and Prejudice."
As they were about to get in, Groot quickly hid in a drawer.
Everyone got down, turned on the tv and were ready to watch Desire and Decorum.
"Movie! Movie!" Animal shouted.
