A three-year-old Henry ran into his mother's room very early in the morning. Excitedly, he climbed up on their bed and almost jumped on his blonde mother. This woke Emma up immediately. "Hey kid," she whispered, so she wouldn't wake up her girlfriend.
"Happy Birthday, Momma!" The child whispered back. Emma smiled. This was the first time someone remembered her birthday. "Thank you, Sweetheart." She kissed his forehead, before taking her son in her arms and standing. She quickly set Henry down to put on her robe, before carrying him down the stairs to the kitchen, knowing Henry wouldn't keep quiet for long and would end up waking his other mother also.
"You want to make pancakes with Momma?" Emma asked, already getting everything they needed. "We can make breakfast on the bed for Mommy." She suggested. The boy nodded excitedly, before frowning. "But Momma, it's your birthday." The blonde smiled.
"Doesn't mean we can't do something nice for Mommy, right?" The boy nodded. "Right." He repeated. Emma showed Henry how to do everything and put everything on a tray.
Doing a quick check together, before going back upstairs: "Orange juice?" Emma asked. "Check!" Henry answered. "Pancakes?" "Check!" "Fruits?" "Check!" "Okay, then I think we have everything, or did I forget something?" The boy shook his head.
The both of them went back to the main bedroom, seeing Regina wake up as they entered the room. "Good morning," Emma whispered lovingly. "Henry and I made breakfast." She continued, putting the tray down in the middle of the bed.
Meanwhile, Regina had sat up and helped Henry on the bed. She kissed his hair, before turning her face towards Emma. "Good morning, my love." She said and kissed the blonde sweetly.
"Mommy! Mommy!" Henry yelled, before Regina could say anything else. Both mothers gave the boy their full attention. "It's Momma's birthday today!" He yelled excitedly.
Both women smiled at the child's excitement. "I know, sweetheart." The brunette mother smiled at her son. She once more turned to her girlfriend. "Happy birthday, darling." And kissed her again.
"Thank you!" Emma said taking Regina's hand in hers. "This is the best birthday ever." She told both of them. Regina frowned. "Darling, we haven't done anything yet. You still get presents, cake, your party…"
"Oh, really?" Emma said surprised. The two others nodded. "This is the first time I celebrate my birthday." Emma explained to a still frowning Regina. Shock covered the brunette's face.
"Well, we're going to have to do something about that now, don't we?" They all smiled. "But first, let's eat this delicious looking breakfast!"
