Title: You're Lucky I Love You
A/N: Kind of drabble-y I guess. This is my first time writing Snowbarry (or at least the first time that was more or less successful. I have drafts for other stories on my computer) and I really want to do more. I've thought about turning this into a one-shot series but whenever I try to do that, I kind of end up neglecting it. I do, however, plan on writing more fics with them. Feel free to request anything if you'd like: either here or on my Tumblr (link on my profile) :]

"Nope. Not happening," Caitlin's hands smoothed down her shirt, frowning distastefully at it.

Barry's sigh could be heard from the other side of the bathroom door. "Come on, Cait, you promised."

"I still don't know how you talked me into this," Caitlin grumbled under her breath.

She could practically picture Barry checking his watch, bouncing up and down on the balls of his feet the way he did when he was getting impatient. "We need to get going. The photographer is waiting."

Frowning one last time at the mirror, Caitlin opens the door, saying, "There's no way I want this sweater to be commemorated forever in photograph form."

Barry smiles adoringly at her once he sees her. "You look adorable."

Caitlin rolls her eyes, but still finds herself pleased by the compliment. As often as Barry made a point of commenting about her appearance, it never failed to lift her spirits if just slightly.

"I don't think ugly Christmas sweaters make anyone look adorable," Caitlin points out.

Barry makes a gesture of mock offense. "What are you trying to say about me?"

Barry is, in fact, wearing a sweater that matched the one she was wearing: green with little reindeer on it. It hadn't been Caitlin's idea.

"Okay," Caitlin concedes, placing her hands on his chest. "You may be the one exception."

Barry beams and quickly kisses her nose.

"I'm still not happy about this. These are our engagement pictures. I want them to be nice. Ugly sweaters aren't nice," Caitlin wrinkles her nose.

"Ah, but you promised," Barry points out. "Just wait, in fifty years, we'll look back at these pictures and smile. Plus, this is what you get for wanting a December wedding."

Caitlin sighs, shoulders slumping. It's impossible to resist Barry. He gets this look in his eyes, like a puppy being kicked. "Fine," she eventually says. "But only because I love you."

And Caitlin still hates the sweater, but she loves the smile Barry gives her and yeah, the pictures turn out pretty cute.
