After a successful night of slaying the forces of darkness, Buffy heads home to find her bags have been packed and Angel waiting for her. She looked at him of confused.
'we are going on a vacacion. Giles, willow and Xander will take care of things here whiles you are away.' He said looking into her eyes. He smiled and she smiled back.
'Ok but for one weekend.' Buffy said laughing. They walked out the door hand in hand and Angel carrying the luggage.
'Oh. Damon leave me be.' Elena complained. All she wanted was a good night's rest. Since she became a vampire, Elena didn't feel herself. Damon scoffed and left her in her bed. To be honest, she was glad she wasn't with him all the time.
'Round and round the cobbler bench the money chased the weasel, money thought it was fun. Pop goes the weasel.' Damon sung from down stairs. Elena's new vamp hearing could make sure she could hear what was going on in a 5 mile radius. Elena got out of bed and looked into the streets. She saw a young couple hand in hand walking. The girl was short and blonde. The man carried luggage and had an angelic face. They looked so happy together. The girl started laughing so Elena opened her window and listened to what they were saying.
'Stop Angel, I'm off guard. There could be vampires that I need to slay.' She said whispering.
'Damon.' Elena said. Damon vamp ran up the stairs to Elena's side.
'What is it?' he asked gently. Elena pointed out the window to the girl. Damon looked to and his cheery face fell. He vamp ran out of the room and out onto the streets. The girl caught him before he could ripe her heart out. She was strong as she flipped him over. The boy helped her. Elena vamp ran onto the streets and got the guy neck in her grasp. The girl stopped.
'You'll kill him.' She said coldly.
'So will you.' Elena answered back looking at her helpless boyfriend.
'Let go of him.' The girl said now worried.
'Who are you?' Elena asked.
'I'm Buffy the vampire slayer and that's Angel the vampire with a soul. You don't find many of them nowadays.' She relied still worried. She tried to sound confident but it didn't work. Stefan and Caroline came to help Elena. Like Damon, Stefan's face fell when he saw her.
'Great more vampires who want me dead.' Buffy said under her breathe. Elena had forgotten that she needed to gripe onto Angel and he took the upper hand. He threw over his shoulders and slammed her onto the ground. Elena mouned in pain. Stefan rushed straight to her aid. He said coldly at Buffy.
'We don't kill humans, we couldn't live the guilt. Plus we kill Vampires to protect our homes, our families and the ones we love.' He growled at her. Buffy let go of Damon and instead of killing Buffy, Damon rushed to Elena's side. Buffy and Angel were in shock of how these vampires protect their homes from other vampires.
