Kira had known about the paranormal since childhood. So what she was seeing now was no surprise to her. She had seen it before a hundred times. But it was different when it was someone else. And a little child at that.

The day this story begin was like every other day. She had gotten up early. Dressed in her favorite tee and skinny jeans. Put on some of her bracelets and rings. Brushed her black and purple hair. Then she made breakfast for herself and her high school pen pal turned best friend Kat.

She went to school. Afterwards was her most favorite thing in the world. The PRS meeting.

She loved being in PRS. Partly because she got the chance to help other families. Families who like hers had been disturbed by the paranormal. Families like hers who didn't know where to turn to. Another reason why she liked PRS was him. The most handsomest guy she ever met. Ryan Buell.

She walked into the room to find the core group of PRS waiting for her.

"I'm so sorry I'm late," she said sitting down next to Katrina. "I didn't miss anything did I?"

"It's ok," said Ryan. "You didn't miss anything. But please don't make this a habit."

"Of course not. It won't happen again." She put her head in her hands and listened to the rest of the meeting from there.

"Our case toady is the case of a ten year old girl who is complaining of seeing apparitions in her closet," said Ryan. "She has been scratched, had her hair pulled, and been verbally abused by these things."

With that said everyone got out to the car. And we were on our way. When we arrived the mother of our client came out to meet us.

"I'm so glad you guys could come," said the mother. "Things have gotten worse since we contacted you. These things have started bitting her and trying to convince her to kill herself."

With that said we went into the house to find our client Anna Maria sitting on the sofa.

"Baby," said the mother, "show the nice people the bites."

Anna Maria walked over to Kira and pulled up shirt to reveal her stomach. Everyone gasped. Besides the bite marks there was the word cow scratched into the flesh of her stomach.

"That must have been very scary," said Kira. "You are a very brave little girl. Do you know that?" She looked over at Ryan. "Can I talk to you?"

The two went outside to talk.

"I don't think it's safe for her to be here," Kira said without missing a beat. "We should suggest she leave now Ryan."

"I agree," said Ryan.

A few hours later Anna Maria and her mother had left. And it was time for Dead Time.

"All right," said Ryan. "Kira, Katrina, and I will take Anna Maria's room. Elfie and Heather will take the living room. And Serge will do tech."

With that said everyone went about the duties they were assigned. Ryan, Kira, and Katrina now sat in Anna Maria's room.

"Is there anyone here who wants to talk to us?" asked Ryan.

A soft spoken voice said something barely audible.

"Can you say that again?" asked Kira.

"Cow," said the spirit.

Within seconds of saying this Kira had numerous scratch marks up and down her arms and legs. Her nose was bleeding profusely.

"If you want to attack someone attack me," said Ryan. "Not her."

Kira stared at him. What was Ryan saying? Why was he telling this thing to attack him?

"Serge," said Ryan into his walkie talkie, "call a priest quick. This thing is attacking Kira."

A few minutes and an excerism later and everything was back to normal. Except for the scratches and bloody nose on Kira. She walked over to Ryan.

"Are you crazy Buell?" she asked him. "Why tell it to attack you?"

"I didn't want anything to happen to you," he said.

"But why?"

"I love you," he said pulling her into a passionate kiss.
