Hello, my name is Yuki Tsukumo, twin sister of Yuma Tsukumo. This kind writer has allowed me to tell of my life, when the numbers came into it, and how it affected my brother and I.
It was a simple day of school, and Yuma was going to make us late as usual.
As soon as I woke up, I had put my raven black hair, that was to my waist, in a low ponytail, and fixed my magenta fringe. I had wiped the sleep from my crimson eyes, and brushed my teeth. And soon, I had put on my Heartland Academy uniform, which was a white, yellow, and pink tank top and, for me, a pair of pale pink shorts, and a pair of brown shoes. I had also clipped on my golden choker that my parents gave me. Yuma had gotten up a few minutes after I finished getting ready, and I was waiting for him by the door, after giving Grandma a goodbye kiss on the cheek. He ran out the door with a piece of toast in his mouth around 5 minutes later. He was soon stalled by Grandma for not giving her her good morning kiss on the cheek, but I was already on my Skateboard Bronk gave me last year. My skateboard was purely black with purple fox patterns. I was at school way before Bronk and Yuma, because of their normal race.
It was a normal day at school, Yuma was challenging himself and feeling the flow, while I was simply reading a book, or doing my homework… until Lunch period, best known to everyone to Dueling Period.
I was walking alone, reading my book on Dueling Strategies, until I had bumped into someone, and I fell. I looked up to see Shark, the top bully.
"Now, who do we have here?" he snickered, and bent down, and it was then I noticed I had dropped both my decks! I have two decks, one my mother played, Fortune Ladies, the other my first deck, Harpies. My Fortune Ladies deck I always used, since Mother disappeared, and Shark picked up both!
"Well, nice decks you have here." Shark spoke. I got up.
"Well, they're MINE, so I'd appreciate it if you gave them back to me." I said.
"Sorry, no can do. Punishment for bumping into me." Shark snickered.
"Then we'll duel over them." I said.
"Fine." and Shark walked over to another side.
"Duel Disk, set!" I threw my duel pad into the air as I got out my Duel Gazer. My Duel Gazer was black and red, with the lense being lilac. My Duel pad was the same colors. I quickly placed my Fortune Lady deck into the slot once I put my Duel Disk together, having lied and said I was best with my Harpie deck, Shark was that much of a complete jerk.
"Duel!" we yelled.
"Ladies first!" I yelled as I drew. Fortune Lady Earth. I looked at my hand. Future Visions, Fortune Lady Light, Solitare Magician, Fortune Lady Wind, and Negate Attack.
"First off, I'll set one card face down. Next up, I'll activate Future Visions. Finally, I'll summon Fortune Lady Light in attack mode." I said, placing Light on the field, but soon she disappeared.
"Ha! You didn't know that Future Visions makes any of your summoned monsters out of play!" Shark cackled.
"And you obviously don't know Light's special ability. When she is removed from play, I can summon one Fortune Lady from my deck! And I choose Fortune Lady Earth!" I yelled.
And the rest of that duel I don't like to talk about, but I lost… Shark getting both my decks…
By the end of the day, I was deckless and Yuma keyless.
