Mikayla had gotten up early this morning. She had a lot things to do. Considering she's only 12. To help her family keep their house she had decided to take on some odd chores for other families who couldn't do it themselves.
So she got up early and helped elderly Mr. Wilkerson with his moisture vaperators. And she helped Mrs Terrick with her laundry.
After this she was ran into her least favorite people of all. Alexis, Leah, and JJ. They were waiting for her right outside the store that she went to to pick up Mr. Witerspoon's toasted toffee squares for him.
"What do we have here?" taunted Alexis who was the leader of the little group.
"I don't know," said JJ stupidly.
"That wasn't a question for you to answer stupid," said Leah.
"Will you two shut up? I'm taunting here." She turned back to Mikayla. "What are you doing her Miss has no time for kids her own age?"
"Unlike you I'm urning money to help my family," she said. "Now Mr. Witerspoon is waiting for me and these toasted toffee squares." With that said Mikayla walked off to deliver the toffee.
After that she went to the Lars farm. She usually helped Brue with the dinner preparations for the family. But that day Brue didn't need any help.
"Why don't you run along and play?" asked Brue. "It's such a lovely day outside."
Mikayla didn't have any more chores to do after that so she sat down and wondered what she was going to do next. A shadow fell over her and she looked up to see her group of friends. Arianna, Haley, and William. And standing with them was Luke Skywalker.
"Whatcha doing?" asked Haley.
"Just trying to think of something to do," said Mikayla. "I'm done work for the day."
"Why don't you hang out with us?" asked Luke.
Luke had just asked her to join them. That was something she had long for for a long time. She had a crush on Luke since she had first met him. And now he wanted to hang out.
"Ok," said Mikayla.
With that the little group of kids went to Toshi Station. There they hung out. They tried to get into the cantinas. They laughed. And then went to see a movie.
"Sit next me, Mikayla," said Luke patting the seat next to him.
Mikayla moved over to the seat next Luke. This was one of the most greatest moments in her life.
When the movie ended it was time for everyone to go home for dinner. Luke walked Mikayla home.
"I had a great time with you today," said Luke.
"Me too," said Mikayla.
"We should do this again. Just the two of us." With that said Luke kissed her cheek and then walked back to his own home.
Luke Skywalker had just asked her. This was the best day of her life. Now she had something to tell her family and friends.
