SURPRISE!!
Today was Hinata's birthday and everyone decided that if anyone deserved a party it's Her.
Ino was the head of the whole party and decided that it would be best if it was a surprise party so Hinata couldn't find an excuse to back out at the last minute. She was a very shy girl, everyone knew it. Personally Ino wanted to see the reaction on her face when everyone yelled surprise, surely she would have thought no one would remember.
Sakura was setting up the last of the decorations as everyone laid their gifts onto the center table.
Naruto was the one who had to inform everyone of the party, and it seemed that he had the whole village in there, including Temari, Konkuro, Gaara and the whole rookie nine…well almost the whole rookie nine.
"Naruto, did you tell Sasuke-Kun?" Ino asked as Naruto was passing by her with an extremely large cake. "Nope, couldn't find him. I doubt he would have come anyways." Naruto said as He put started to put the seventeen candles on the cake. "I doubt Hinata will mind, it is not like they are friends."
Everyone was anticipating when Hinata would open her front door and turn on her living room lights. People were walking around everywhere, getting handfuls of confetti to throw in the air when Hinata flicked the switch.
"6:20. Hinata should be coming home from training." Ino yelled through the room. No one knew where Hinata trained, and she seemed to want to do it alone for some reason, whenever someone offered to help she would politely decline the offer.
Everyone squatted and hid somewhere around the room as Tenten flicked the switch since she was the closest.
The ten minutes seemed like forever, the air was thick with anticipation.
Finally they heard the door lock turn as they see Hinata coming in, but she wasn't alone.
You could see an outline of someone who was very close to her. Her back turned to them she pulled them in and flicked on the lights. Everyone yelled 'Surprise!' and through the sparkling confetti everywhere, but from all the loud noise just made instantly it went dead quiet.
Hinata had someone pinned against the wall who she was just kissing pretty intimately; obviously she wasn't as shy as she let on. The only person missing from the party didn't seem missing anymore.
Hinata turned, Sasuke's arms still around her with an annoyed expression. "Well there goes our secret." Sasuke muttered to Hinata, but everyone was able to hear. So Naruto is right, they aren't really friends, but it seemed like it was a lot more than that.
They looked around the room and saw teachers against the far wall; Kakashi dropped his book, but his hand still in air from shock and stared at them while Tsunade had her mouth hanging lower than thought possible. Kurenai was holding onto Kiba's sleeve as he tried to get from her grasp to attack Sasuke.
Hinata turned to look at her cousin, who's Byakugan was activated and met his angry gaze. "Hinata is this what you do during 'training'?" He said in a way that you could see the quotation marks around his words.
Hinata didn't know what else to do, but she couldn't resist saying the next thing that came to mind, "Surprise?"
