Long. Sadly No. Happy. Thankfully yes. I know it's incredible short but I wanted to get another happy story up tonite. =] Written to yet another Justin Bieber song called First Dance =] so plz enjoy! :D
"KC, I'm gonna go dance with Sam." Jackie said over the soft melody flowing out of the speakers.
"Oh, uh okay, have fun." KC called as she watched Sam wrap his arms around her waist and them sway. She was happy for them, really she was, but at the same time she was upset that she had never actually slow-danced before. Her eyes scanned the dance floor. Even Zack has a date, she thought. She continued to scan the dance floor, surprised she couldn't find Riley.
"Hey Case, why aren't you dancing?" Riley asked from behind her, making her jump.
"I don't have anyone to dance with." KC replied turning to face him.
"I could dance with you." Riley suggested.
"I've never slow-danced before though."
"Well then let me be your first dance. It's something you remember for your whole life; I'll make sure it's special. After all, you only have your first dance once in a life time."
"I'd like that." KC replied happily. Riley led her out into the middle of the dance floor and secured KC in his arms. KC draped her arms around his neck and mimicked his sway. They slowly turned around, the room swaying with them. The slow song ended sooner than both of them wanted. They stopped twirling but still stayed locked in their positions, staring into each others' eyes.
"You know, there's something else that you're supposed to do after you have your first dance; to make incredibly special." Riley whispered. KC breathed softly despite the feeling of breathlessness. She ignored the feeling and smiled. Riley matched her facial expression and pressed his lips to hers. KC's first dance was definitely not going to be forgotten; by either of them.
