Silver hair wisped around the now older, wiser teen. Darkness no longer held his heart. His aqua eyes stared deeply into the everlasting ocean as he clutched a large star shaped fruit. Laughter filled the air of the silent island. He turned his head swiftly toward to the teens desperately in love.

The boy's hand ran through the beautiful girl's red hair. She inched closer to the brunette lover as the both sat on the wooden plank connecting the older male to the rest of the playful island. His nose connected with hers as they shared a passionate kiss.

A tear rolled down the stern face onto the legendary fruit. However this piece of fruit held nothing for him. They could never be together. Silver hair hid the sorrow as he slowly released his grip on the fruit and let it carelessly fall into the water. He looked down and saw the star sink and drift off with the current and his hopes and dreams.

His ever growing feeling of passion made the observed kiss even more painful. He could never provide that kind of love for such a light hearted soul. He still believed he was a being of darkness. It would never work. However after being saved by the young brunette and being stuck in nothingness with the boy…he had grown closer with his best friend. He was happy for him that he returned to his love but Riku needed Sora.

Riku had nothing now. He watched as he slowly lost the only thing he ever cared for. The two teens unlocked their lips and intertwined their fingers. Riku felt such a pang in his heart. He quickly adverted his attention back to the ocean as the brunette grimaced at his friend.

The young boy believed that Riku was sad about not have a girl. Oblivious to the fact that Riku wanted Sora. He smiled at the girl and let go of her hand as he walked to the older boy. He snuck up behind his and gave the teen a friendly hug. Riku's heart skipped a beat. He felt his body need the brunette. He turned and smiled, "Hey Sora..." His smile was weak but his smell intoxicated the teen's mind.

"Riku…" Sora saw the pain in the aqua eyes of the teen. The brunette turned from his friend and walked back to the waiting girl. The sun set before the island leaving orange glow in the sky.

Time passed slowly as the teen leaned against the curved tree. He stared up as he began to see small bright star appear into the night sky. Reluctantly he removed himself from the tree and he started toward the row boats.

Surprise and pain overwhelmed the boy as he saw the two lovers sleeping side by side on the sand. His eyes were lowered as he refused to watch any longer. A light moan and the call of his name came from the brunette suddenly. His aqua eyes gazed upon the sleeping angel. He leaned down as stared as Sora slept soundly. His heart pounded as he leaned down closer, inches from the sleeping boy's face. Unable to control himself, he leaned in and pressed his lips against the boy. It was short but it was special. He smiled slightly as the boy stayed in his deep slumber. He turned and continued to walk away. "Thank you…Riku…" the boy mumbled in his sleep. Riku stopped momentarily and smiled as a tear rolled down his face.
