I Won't Remember
A Teen Titans ONESHOT!
By: Indigo March
(Tha's me!)
Note: I never really forgave Terra after her little fall out (going crazy, trying to kill everyone, you know—the usual), even if she saved them all from Slade. Blah, blah, blah….What I'm trying to say is that I was I was kinda glad she didn't "remember" them, but sad because Beast Boy's heart was broken—again. Beast Boy ROCKS!
So here's a little oneshot thingamajig (it's a real word).
~*~*~
"I'm sorry, Beast Boy, but the girl you want me to be is just a memory."
Beast Boy didn't understand as he watched her walk quickly down the hall, disappearing from his sight as students moved before him in blur. She couldn't … remember?
How could she forget all that she had gone through? How could she forget who she was—what she could do? This stuff didn't happen overnight—maybe if she was crushed by a few thousands of gallons of lava, sure—he stopped, realizing how stupid that sounded, even for him. She had been completely incased in lava, so it was highly possible that she would suffer from amnesia. But there was a way to cure that, right? He'd have to ask Raven.
Another thing that bothered him was the how? How was she alive again to begin with? And besides that, how'd she find her way back to the surface?
Someone must have helped her.
Tears pricked at the back of his eyes and he blinked rapidly.
Don't you dare cry, BB, he told himself firmly. Not after all you've been through. You've grown up. At least a little.
"Beast Boy, pick up!" Robin's voice sounded unnaturally loud as Beast Boy absentmindedly unhooked his communicator from his belt.
"Yeah?" he croaked. His cleared his throat and said more firmly, "Yes?"
"We're being creamed! Get over here!"
"I'm coming," he said. He switched the communicator off and reattached it to his belt.
Unsuccessfully trying to push Tara from his mind he began walking down the hall, coming to the front doors and pushing them violently open, feeling anger course through his blood, body, and mind. First he was happy to see her alive, then he was sad she refused to remember, then denial, now anger.
She remembered. He saw it in her eyes. He sighed, looking up at the clear blue sky. The temporary anger he had felt faded, replaced again with the dull ache.
Beast Boy clinched and unclenched his fists.
If she refused to remember, so would he.
So he did the only thing he could: he ran.

I can describe this oneshot in one word:
