I heard a small knock on my door, then it slid open and someone entered. "Renji?" I asked questioning at the man in front of me. "What do you want?" He was looking from my window to me then back at the window.
"Um..Ichigo?"
"Yea?"
"I, um, just wanted to thank you for today...I had fun, um that was all. I'm going back now." As he turned to make his leave I caught his arm and turned him back to me. "Ichigo?"
"You can't just leave like that."He just stared at me as we stood there facing each other, in a short silence. "What I mean is, you came for another reason, right? You know what's happening tonight? And my guess is that you want to stay here for that?"
"Kurosaki, if it wheren't for the reason I actually know what you're talking about I would be thinking that you would do something dirty with Abarai-kun."
"Byakuya, to what do we owe the pleasure?" I muttered giving him a fake smile.
"My sister told me to give this to Abarai-kun. And then I figured I would be finind him at your quarters." He answered with a smirk, handing Renji a bag with unknown contest. Renji accepted it and walked over to my desk putting it down to go through it.
"Um, Captain are you sure Rukia-chan wanted me to have this?" Renji asked, blushing in a nice scarlet colour.
"She said that it would help you keep your mind on somthing else, tonight." Renji's eyes drifted from the bag to me and his blush got a more crimsson colour. "Well, I've done what I came for so I will be leaving, you two have a nice night." With that Byakuya left us alone.
"So, Ren, what's in the bag?" He qickly put the bag behind him.
"Nothing!"
"Is that so? This is not like you." I pointed out stpping in front of him. "What's in the bag?"
"Um -gulp- nothing?" He tried again but I pulled the bag away from him and had a look inside it. Though seconds later my face was a matching crimsson red as Renji.
"Um, Ichi?"
"I am a hundred procent sure that this was Rukia's doing!" I stated putting the bag down to walk up to the door. But I got stopped by Renji's hand pulling on my uniform.
"Don't."
"But I have to-"
"So you're just going to leave me then?" I didn't look at him, because if I did I would never get away to get back at Rukia, tonight. But as I reached out for the handle the room brightened up and before the sound came I had two, shacking, arms around my waist,
"No, I'm not leaving." Instead of opening the door I ended up locking it. Turning back to Renji I took his hands in mine looking into his eyes. "I'm never leaving you." Seconds later another lightning struck and I had my arms around the shacking for of Renji. "Renji, I will never leave you, okay? I love you too much." I whispered in his ear as I guided him over to my bed.
