She lie there, warm and comfortable, in his arms. His breathing was deep and even, telling her he was yet to wake up. She watched his chest rise and fall over and over until she was lost in thought. She thought about all the evenings she spent with Jake and how he was always gone when she woke up. The other side of the bed cold, and empty from where he had been. She thought about Hagen and how every time she wanted to be held he'd say something about liking to sleep on his stomach. Sighing Calleigh brought her thoughts back to the sexy Cuban man lying in her bed. 'perfection' she thought as her eyes roamed his face.

Calleigh sighed and nestled herself deeper into his warm embrace. Smiling she thought of the first time he'd held her. It felt so good, so natural to be in his arms. He never complained about sleeping on his back so that she could rest her head on his chest, he never tried to wiggle away during the night, and he never pushed her when she just wanted to be left alone. Calleigh let her eyes roam over her bedroom before settling back on his face, only this time her gaze was met with two chocolate brown eyes watching her.
"'Morning beautiful," he mumbled, his voice deep from sleep.
"'Morning," she whispered back, tightening her grip on him, making sure he knew she wasn't ready to get up just yet.
"What are you thinking about?" he asked stretching a little.
"How lucky I am to have you," Calleigh responded honestly.
"I'm the lucky one Cal," he retorted, kissing her temple. Calleigh could only smile in response. I love when you tell me that I'm pretty when I just wake up

"Good, because I'm in love with you too." He told her before pressing a soft kiss to her forehead, the corner of her mouth, and then her lips.
