My first poem :) I hope it's up to scratch. It's from Nephrite to Naru (Neflyte to Molly, for viewers of the American version)
You've Changed Me
Until I met you I never knew happiness
I thought life was about death, betrayal and sadness
Life was a black hole and the only way to survive was harming innocents
I was wrong
When I first met you, I used you to get to your best friend
I knew you loved me but I didn't care
I felt no guilt and even enjoyed manipulating you
I was evil
Then, once, I felt something different
I ignored it and continued my evil ways
But, when you were in danger, I came to your aid
I was changed
I told you one last lie, but for different reasons
Instead of to cover up my evilness, to make you happy
I stopped seeing you as a pathetic weakling, and saw you as yourself, a pretty young girl
I was in love
I made you my first real promise and intended to keep it
But my past caught up to me
Death was going to take one of us, and I couldn't let it take you
I'm sorry to break our promise, but it was necessary to save you
I am redeemed
